Surprised. My husband and I stopped by there the other day on an outing to the Galleria Mall. He needed to get his sports fix and I needed to refuel. When I think of a sports bar, I think wings and burgers. Though these options are on the menu, this place has many options and the quality was surprisinly good. Our waitress was friendly as well as effcient. I will deffinately go back. : )

Interesting place. My first to this establishment went well I admit. I ordered chicken tenders with fries and a drink. The tenders weren't that great. The fries were too small and a bit salty. I ordered a baked cookie pie in a pan with an ice cream scoop. The cookie was great. In fact, I think that was the highlight of my time there.

The staff, I didn't have any real complaints. The hostess/waitress was very nice. Ended up chit-chatting with for a few min about my bracelet. I only gave the foxsports grill a three stars out of five.

wow, its still bad here.. From reviews over two years ago, saying bad service and overall not so well experience, here is yet another bad review of this place. You would think high standards for this place, but no. Service takes forever for anything. The food is alright. The reason i give it two stars is because of the atmosphere is the only thing it seems to have going for it. Ive been here twice in like the last year, I would not really recommend this place or will i go back to it. The food is alright.

Worst customer service in the world. This review is after my third and final visit. I hope Gordon Ramsay pays a visit to this place so that he can rip the entire place apart. If not for the name recognition, location, and sports channels unavailable in other sports bars, this place would be out of business.

1) For as many waitstaff that work there, this place is so highly inefficient.

2) Food and drink prices are expensive for such a lousy place.

3) Service is lousy.

4) Service is lousy.

5) Service is lousy.

6) Servce is worse if you go with a large group--they are not ashamed to tack on the 18% gratuity.

I believe that the only people keeping this place afloat are the affiliated Fox Sports people, people that think this is a cool place, and travelers staying near the Galleria area.

I went there last night, not because I wanted to, but because they were showing some of the hockey playoff games only available on satellite and I was meeting up with co-workers. Twenty minutes after we arrived, our server took our drink order. Approximately ten minutes later he brought us our drinks. We declined food based on that.

Also, the bar closes promptly at 11 pm. If you are in triple overtime of any championship game with a minute left, they will still close and kick you out.

Good food, deplorable service featuring bait and switch. The food was delicious, but the service was really bad.

First, we were left to wait at our table for 20 minutes before Waiter asked if we had been approached. We were doing classwork, so we didn't mind at first. We ordered drinks from the prominent tabletop happy hour flyer.

When the bill came, I pointed out that the drink prices were not the happy hour prices. Waiter went to check. Five minutes later, he reappeared and told me the prices were only available in the bar, not the patio area or restaurant. When I asked him to tell me where on the flyer it said that, he came back with a manager who told me the same thing. I asked again to be shown where the flyers on all the tables indicated the limited availability. She told me that they didn't, but also that they were meant to entice people to the bar.

Frustrated by their attitude, and now extremely short of time due to at least 30 minutes wasted on their part, I told them to run my bill as it was. I intend to dispute the charge, even though the difference is only a few dollars. I don't tolerate bait and switch tactics well.

It's a shame, since the location is so close to our class and the food was tasty; we'll walk 20 minutes farther now to avoid this place.

Typical bar. The wait staff is terrible especially near closing time. The food is something you would expect from a bar and grill. The atmosphere is the only thing this place has going for itself. If you are looking to waste time with bad service and mediocre food then this is your place. Otherwise Champs would be better.

Extremely poor service and waitstaff are willing to commit credit card fraud. I went to FSG on May 3rd with some friends to watch the Rockets game. The restaurant was less than half full due to inclement weather. We had very poor service from the waitstaff. The waiter kept stating that he was swamped but he was only covering about 4 tables. It took over an hour to get our check from the time we requested it. When we complained to the manager, he acted like he could care a less. I left a small tip which I felt represented the service. However, when I checked my bank statement recently, I found that the SOB decided to change the amount of his tip to over 50%. He did this with each person's check at our table. That is theft and credit card fraud. There are plenty of great sports bars in Houston, don't waste your time and money at FSG. The food is overpriced for the quality which is that of typical "Bar food". BTW, everyone at my table was an attorney, so Fox will be hearing from us.

Is it me, or does the wait staff hate us???. My wife and I have given FSG the benefit of the doubt several times since it opened. Each time we visit, we do so in hopes that it will have come around (i.e. that corporate will step in and fire the entire wait staff) but unfortunately, it has only gotten worse with time. Our latest attempt to enjoy a meal there took an unbelievable amount of time considering what we ordered and that the place was only half full (for a Final Four game no less). It is only a matter of time until the cool decor ceases to compensate for the total disrespect given by the wait staff.

Lunchtime was good. Went there on a Wednesday early afternoon for lunch. Server was very prompt in taking my order. Food delivery did seem a little slow for being as few people as there was in there. Food itself was great, ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich that had its share of heat. Server got the order right, including my request for ranch dressing instead of bleu cheese, which tamed the heat of the sandiwch down nicely. I found it ironic that while being a Fox branded restaurant, most of the TVs on this day were tuned to ESPN stations, but hey, I guess you cant corner the TV market completely. Would have rather seen more local Fox sports on, but this may have been due to the timing of my visit. Overall, a very good visit, and I would certainly go back again.
