“don't know about the rest of the locations, but the Westheimer location is great.”
“The food is good but I did not felt welcome for the upper management!”
“Now don't get me wrong, the food is always well prepared, the restaurant is immaculate, and the service is very good, but there is just better Thai food to be had in Houston than Nit Noi.”
“We have never had a dish we didn't like, and most portions are huge, and there lunch specials can't be beat.”
Much Better Thai in Houston. This might be blasphemous to many people as I know several that give their Thai allegiance to Nit Noi, but honestly, I just don't think its that good. Now don't get me wrong, the food is always well prepared, the restaurant is immaculate, and the service is very good, but there is just better Thai food to be had in Houston than Nit Noi. First of all, I don't care much for eating there for dinner. I enjoy a restaurant to be dimly lit and provide some atmosphere for conversation, but this place is so dark its impossible to to get a good look at your food. Honestly, once when eating there and we had our dishes in front of us, all of the people at the table had ordered various colors of curry, and in the dim lighting of the place we honestly could not tell which color was which. Also, although I really enjoy vegetables, their curry is served with HUGE chunks which I do not enjoy at all. Potatoes are good, but not when they are only halved. Also, there curry stock is very heavy yet doesn't really have any rich sweetness to it, so its just kind of heavy without the benefit. Also its hard to nail them down on a level of spiciness, and if you like it a little more spicy than bland you will have a hard time getting the level right.
Customer could be improve my the management!! Food is good!. The customer service from the manager is very low to the Thai style. The food is good but I did not felt welcome for the upper management!!!
Pricey but good. I've been to the Rice Village location and was happy when they opened at West Side. The food is delicious but admittedly a bit pricey.. I really like their Satay Beef as appetizer and Curry Chicken (only place I know that adds pineapple). The pregnant lady wasn't too friendly when I picked up my food to go, but I can see why since she's pregnant and was probably having her moments during busy lunch hour. I'd splur every once in a while since the food is good. If it were a bit more reasonable then I would frequent more often.
Bad Service and terrible food.. Service is terrible, and food is below average. It says thai restaurant but I do not think the chef knows how to cook thai food, food was so blunt and does not taste like thai food at all. It is better to find some authentic thai restaurant and go there. I would not recommend this restaurant to any one.
Worst Place to go to EVER!. Ok MAYBE this place LOOKS good but dont let it fool you. The food is ABSOLUTLY horrible..and the service is sh it. There are PLENTY of restaurants in Houston..Dont Choose this One. Noone in there doesnt even stand a word of English! I know it;s an asian place..but if ur in america shouldnt u know english? unless they are illegal and i bet you that thats what they are..
What can I say. . . the food is. . . edible. As you have read my headline, it is not going to be a happy one. Let' s start from the get go, I am Thai and the food is not. The food I ordered was a spin off of fake Thai food for rich people. It' s plain and simple, it' s a rip off. The pad see eeyw was yellow when it is suppossed to be black. The dish freakin means fried soy sauce. Well as a Thai person who loves Thai food and great taste, don' t even bother. There are better places.
Editorial Review. Welcoming Thai restaurant known for varied flavors and off the menu specialties.
West Side Rocks!!. I don't know about the rest of the locations, but the Westheimer location is great. We have never had a dish we didn't like, and most portions are huge, and there lunch specials can't be beat. Service is sometimes sketchy, but always friendly, and the decor is interesting and well executed.
