“Order the sashimi; order specialty rolls; the miso soup is pretty hearty; dessert ice cream is nice.”
“and then cross Richmond for a really good espresso and dessert at Oporto.”
“this place is small, but has great service and wonderful sushi.”
“They have a huge menu, and everything we ordered was outstanding!”
“Not the best place for a first date, but the perfect place for a 5th and so on date when you don't need to impress but simply enjoy eachother's company over good food.”
“Even after telling all of my friends about the horrible experience, we will all go back.”

“the decor, chairs and tables are very simple and not much to look at, but hey, you go there for the good but inexpensive food and not the ambience”
“The food is too good and too wonderfully priced for us to worry about slow service.”

This is a favorite lunch spot for me! Small and quaint, with good sushi. The lunch specials are a great deal too. No fuss, and great service always.
One of the best happy hour deals in town. Decent sized appetizers of dumplings, sushi rolls, salads and more. Place is tiny but packed.
Good sushi, great price.. The rolls are delicious, and the happy hour menu is awesome. Only been here a few times, and it's usually crowded.
Happy hour is unbeatable!. Happy hour is unbeatable! Cheap drinks, food is fantastic, atmosphere is ultra casual & fun. Come early, as there is often a wait & parking gets dicey. Bathrooms need improvement, but the rest is so good that I tend to overlook those things.
Authentic. I can't fault the sushi and sashimi here - I've only had better in Japan. The specials menus are fantastic value. It's usually packed and slightly chaotic inside, but that's part of the charm. If you're not bothered about fancy decor and just want to eat great sushi, go here. The only minus point is the occasional lax service. I'm not deducting any marks for the wait - that's a sign of a great place.
Best Sushi in the Galleria Area. This is my 3 stop a week sushi lunch place. I get in and out full on sushi for 10 bucks. You can't beat that. Comparable places, like Japon or something, will charge you twice as much and give you less food. The waitstaff is great. If you are close by and want a quick, healthy, good lunch, go here for sure.
Good sushi if you like to wait *followup. I can guarantee that if you go at happy hour, you will not be in line only 10 minutes, like the last review said, more like an hour, which I experienced just last week.
Best sushi in town!. This place is amazing. Even with the restaurant packed in the middle of happy hour, we were seated within ten minutes of arrival. They have a huge menu, and everything we ordered was outstanding! Their hamachi is so fresh that it melts in your mouth like butter, and there are numerous vegetarian choices in addition to all the great seafood. Be sure to try the black mushroom roll and baked mussel roll in addition to your usual favorites!
best happy hour. The best happy hour sushi in town! The service is the worst- but the food is good and the service is fast. Try the crunch sushi and the baked mussels- YUMMY!
This is where my paycheck goes!!!. this place is the best sushi. I go there at least every pay period sad but true. Food is always excellent and the service is freindly and very attentive. I found out about this place 3 years ago and have made all of my family and freinds sushi lovers because of this place. The only downfall would have to be its not close to sugarland. Maybe thats good so i won't eat here everyday. LOLZ
