Disappointing and TERRIBLE!. This place is terrible and a rip off! We have been talking about eating here for weeks and finally tonight we went ahead and tried it out. The rice was bland and over cooked (it looked like mashed potatoes), the Tabouli was terrible... it was nothing but green onions and grainy over-ripe tomatoes, and the pita bread tasted like regular buttered sandwich bread. We liked the Tzatziki, but that is about it. We were displeased that we had to pay before our meal was served to us because the price was extremely high and the receipt was asking for a tip up front. The lady taking our order was rude and annoyingly loud. Her and the lady cleaning tables kept talking extremely loud and using profound language, cursing, and making inappropriate comments around us and other customers. They complained out loud about the work and how they wish no one else would come into the store because they were closing in an hour. This was the worst dinner my wife and I have ever had and we will never go back. This is not a Greek Restaurant... it is a rip off! I would strongly suggest going to any other Greek restaurant if you want real Greek food made by people who take pride in their food/service.

Worst Place Ever. The food was ok, not worth $50 for two plates. For a little bit extra we could have gone to Perry's steakhouse. The front cashier lady was the rudest person I have ever come across. She overcharged us almost double for our meals, (found out after I got home and looked on their webpage at the prices). Clearly the positive reviews are left by family members or friends. I have gone to this place twice and the each time it seems they make up whatever prices they want for the food. I will not let it happen again. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be going there again.

The "only real Greek food" in the area!. This Greek resturant is my all time favorite. The man that runs the cash register is also the owner. He is as "Greek" as they come. While his style could be considered rude and pushy, I have come to enjoy it and consider it part of the experience. With time and talking to him, he can be quite fun. I mentioned one day that it was my favorite Greek resturant in the area, and he very quickly informed me that his was the ONLY Greek resturant in the area, the rest are "mediterranean".

Every time I go I swear I'm going to try the keftedes, but I always end up with a gyro of some sort. Their tatsiki is one of the best around. And I've had a sample of the lentle soup and it blew me away! It's a tad pricey, but well worth it. And if you order from an actual menu instead of the signs, all the prices are CLEARLY listed.

Best place in Houston to get a Gyros Platter!. This is a great lunch spot - the food is prepared quickly, authentic Greek dishes cost around $10, and there is a small patio in front of the restaurant that is fantastic in the spring and fall. It has a convenient location, despite its location in a strip center. However, a word of warning about the owner (who usually works the cash register) - he's a little off!! If he assigns you to table #12, don't request a different table, or be a comedian and sit and table #13. Your dining experience will turn into a Seinfeld episode -- "No soup for you!!" He tends to rant about American Express ("Leave home without it!!"), and how things were better back home in Greece. After you've been there a few times, it becomes amusing to watch him interact with other customers, and he can be quite charming once he recognizes you as a repeat customer.

not the greek experience you want. upon first impression it appears to be another hole-in-the-wall greek cafe (the ambience could be much desired of), with greek imported food lined along the wall and a decent menu written out for all to see. we opted to have a light snack with the appetizers, assuming they were inexpensive since none of the price values were written out. boy were we fooled. the small appetizers (which tasted nothing special) ended costing just as much as a full meal. on top of that, the cashier was rude and rushed us into ordering. the only highlight was our waiter, who was polite, friendly, and accomodating. the pricey appetizers left a sour note in our mouth and had us running out the door as soon as possible.*
