Greek in Galveston. The Olympia oyster appetizer or meal (choose grilled option over fried) is dazzling. The chef does not overcook the oysters into chewy blandness as do many others. The Greek salad is crisp and fresh, with plenty of feta. The dressing is self applied from a bottle on the table and it is flavorful without being overly tart. I was disappointed that the salmon burger came as a previously frozen pre-formed round dry patty, like you can buy at Costco. It can't be too hard to chop a three ounce piece off a fresh salmon filet and sautee it. We go to a luncheon diner in a Houston business park that does it just that way, and it is delicious. Olympia also offers turkey and beef burgers that we haven't tried. The gyro platter I ordered came largely chopped instead of sliced off the rotisseried meat, and was a little dry. Although plentiful, I got the feeling it was remnants. Greek TV game shows are playing on silent TV sets. Jewelry is offered for sale at the counter. Pleasant blue and white decor. Attentive service. A new location opening soon at Pier 21. I hope they freshen up the menu. This could be a really good place to eat.

Good food. In a world of chain restaurant food, Olympia Grill is a great eating experience. The food is wonderful From Hummus to the Gyro plate or salad - lots of food with great flavor. The owners are gracious and make you welcome. Yummy!

Not Romantic!. I made reservations here for valentine's day, and the OWNER did everything he could to make this night as horrible as possible. When we arrived my "reserved" table was one in the corner with our neighbors head resting on my table. The over booked the night and had people sitting right next to each other. I asked if they had another table, they showed me a larger table for 5 and I took it. After we ordered our drinks the hostess sat another couple at our table... yes now we were sitting next to another random couple at dinner. This would not have been a big deal, but we weren't really given a choice, the hostess put us on the spot and asked us in a way that we could not say no. 30 minutes later we get our drinks, 15 minutes later we were out the door without ordering. Needless to say we wasted a good hour here. I spoke to the owner on the way out, and he didn't even care. He told me that they overbooked and told me to have a goodnight. No apology.

Good Greek & Seafood. Good place to go. Real Gulf seafood. You can tell. The greek food is authentic and good. This little Grill is in the strip center at 48th & Seawall. We were very pleased and priced at good value. Wonderfull.

Excellent Greek Cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised by this non-descript looking (from the outside) gem of a restaurant. After a long day at the beach, my friend and I decided to visit the little restaurant, located in a shopping strip along the Seawall and order a quick bite. Talk about exceeding expectations! I ordered the gyros dinner with sides of roasted eggplant and roasted potatoes and it was totally scrumptious.

If you go, I recommend sitting at the bar. My friend and I sat at the bar and had the best time interacting with other patrons and a very charistmatic server who anticipated our every need. It is family owned and they have a sincere personal touch that is lacking in so many other restaurants.

I look forward to visiting this place again the next time I go to Galveston.

Authentic and a Good Value. This overlooked resturant in a strip center has some delicious Greek food and reasonable prices. You have to order at the cash register but after that there is no semblance to fast food. The Lamb Shank is the best. If you are looking for an alternative to the usual poorly cooked seafood in Galveston visit this place and you'll be in for a treat.
