Got what I needed for a distant gift. I live in NYC and needed to buy a gift for a female friend who'd just completed a big project. I thought about flowers but that seems really old school. I read online that Leap had NY style in center of Houston. Called the owner, described my friend and her tastes, she found something in my price range. I sent my friend over to pick up her "suprise." Leap had wrapped the garment beautifully and added a nice card with my words. My friend was happy. I was happy. I took a "leap" and it worked. So I am giving this boutique max stars.

My favorite store in Houston is Leap.. Leap is a treasure embedded in the heart of Houston. The clothing, jewelry, accessories and bags (my favorite designer is Orla Kiely) are soooo amazing. I live in NC and travel to Houston to visit family/friends a few times a year. Every time, I try to fit Leap into my schedule. I wish there was a store this creative and unique in my home town. Stop by if you are in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this store.

Engaging Montrose area boutique filled with clothing, accessories and gifts for women of character..

Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, this cozy boutique boasts pieces as unique as their decor. Owner Susan Silverman converted this sun-dappled and wood-warmed bungalow into a fashionable spot for women's clothing highlighting local designers and hard-to-find lines like Mon Petit Oiseau, Orla Kiely and Rozae Nichols. Accessories are appealingly displayed throughout the loft-like space and include shoes, handbags and jewelry. There's also a section for gifts including beautifully packaged soaps, candles, music, journals and hair accessories.
