In Short – This Midtown mega-club has long been a Houston nightlife standard. With more than 17,000 square feet of club space, there's ample dancing room for the crowds of 20-somethings who gravitate here on weekends. The club is broken down into three separate rooms, with DJs in each: the Main Terminal (hip-hop, dance and R&B), the Dragonfly Lounge (progressive and tech house) and the Red Room (house and '80s house). –

I felt obligated to write this

I almost did not go to see ATB at this club because of all of the horrible reviews I read about it on here. I'll try to address most of the complaints I read starting with parking. I got there at 9:45 on a Friday and parked 1/2 block away. Yes, there were homeless people around. No, they didn't hassle or even speak to me and no, my car wasn't broken into. I got to the club and there was a very short line. The bouncers did not try to extort $20 from me and as opposed to being rude, they were actually quite courteous. There are 4 bars in the club and I never had to wait more than a few minutes for a drink. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was exceedingly clean and nobody was having sex or anything close to it in there. Also, I never saw not even one person smoking while I was there. The crowd was evenly mixed regarding age but I didn't meet anyone that was anything less than friendly and polite. On whole, I enjoyed myself and look forward to going back.
