Editorial Review for Les Givral's Kahve – by Joshua Hinsdale
In Short
Les Givral's Vietnamese baguette sandwiches and entrees are an alternative for mainstream diners who may be more accustomed to American-style ham and cheese. This casual and busy restaurant serves fresh meat and veggie sandwiches, noodle soups, vermicelli and rice dishes, spring rolls and other Vietnamese specialties. The decor is simple and modern, giving the dining room a subtle atmosphere to complement a casual business lunch or a weekend dinner with friends.

BuddhaCat says every place has good days and bad days...don't be hatin on places if you arrive on one of the restuarants bad days - stuff happens and sometimes people run out of things (this is for that person who thinks they are Fiorucci, you are no Fiorucci!). BuddhaCat says try a little of everything...find what you like and what you don't. BuddhaCat says this is the only way to reach pure epicurious harmony! Bun is good for the chi, Pho is good for the soul, and the BanhMi, well that sandwich, any flavor, will kick all other sandwich buddha-butts out of the sea! Wise word from BuddhaCat - go again and make peace with your inner Epicurean...Buddha will rain harmony and Mr. Brown from above for all! Eat, Drink and be Meow-y!
Pros: Great to people watch, great ambiance and food
Cons: People who cannot read the self serve signs

Les Grival's has become a weekly destination for me. I work a good nine blocks away, but the food quality, great value, and very clean, nice ambiance of the restaurant make it worth the trek. The owner is very friendly and accomodating, and I have never had issues with the overall service. I have taken co-workers and friends who have felt the same. Would recommend to anyone looking for good Vietnamese cuisine in downtown at a great price.
Pros: Great Food. Great Prices. Great Ambience. Great Service.
Cons: Wish it was closer to my work, but still worth the trip....
