Extremely Family Friendly Gourmet Restaurant. I love this place. One of the things that makes this restaurant so unique is their kid's menu! I know it sounds totally weird that I'd be raving about their kid's menu, but any parent out there knows how hard it is to get their kid to eat their food, much less their vegetables. I never have to coerce my kids into eating the dishes served here.

Instead of serving crappy fast food on the kid's menu, they serve stuff like spinach stuffed meatballs made with organic beef and mac n cheese made with wheat germ and soy beans. I hate to admit it but I'm guilty of ordering off the kid's menu for myself sometimes. That's how good the kid's menu is. The regular menu is very good too, I love the curry crab egg rolls and the seafood salad. But for me, the main draw here is the kid's menu. Let's face it, here are lots of places that serve good food, but very few if any serve healthy organic food for kids that is loaded with hidden vegetables. Plus, the waitstaff is always so friendly and patient with my little ones.

I only gave it four stars though because sometimes the service can be a bit slow. If it wasn't for that though, I'd give it 5 stars because everything about the restaurant is so family friendly from the menu to the bathrooms.

Not Recommended. I read a number of the reviews stating this was a great date place, and went for it. Bad mistake!

My wife and I arrived, and were seated right away. The waitress didn't come to our table for about 15 minutes. To her defense she was the ONLY waiter/waitress there that night. The restaurant was not packed, but it was still to much for one wait staff.

Food was ok. Chicken was bland. My wife had the Pad Tia, which was good.

Great date place!. My husband and I love this place, the food and service are excellent. It is very quiet, no screaming kids! Leave the kids home if they are below 5 and come have a great date with your significant other. Salmon melts in your mouth!

Perfect!!!. We found this restaurant quite by chance- and have returned many times. I love the curry firecracker appetizers, spring rolls- cold with meat and mint and wonderful dipping sauce. My husband adores the Pad Thai which is served inside of an "omelet". I order something different each visit- and have always been impressed with the flavor and quality. We recently visited only an hour before closing time( thought we had two hours before they closed!) and were served by a waiter we had never met (so we weren't recognized as a frequent visitor). We were never "rushed" but were allowed to enjoy our delicious meal. When we realized that the restaurant was closed, I felt that we should leave. BUT the waiter came over with dessert menus and encouraged us to have a look. We were unable to turn down the strawberry shortcake and the white chocolate bread pudding. He cheerfully said he would make fresh coffee and served us a wonderful dessert. When I offered to pay so they could close out and clean up- he declined laughing and said he would enjoy a cup of the coffee and was in no hurry. It was like dining with friends!! I have always been impressed with their food- but the service was just unbelievably good on our last visit.

Excellent Food. I was invited to a small lunch with my friend Yolanda at Children's Collections. We WALKED there. She surprised me with friends gathered together as I will start a new job Monday. The food was excellent. Excellent service, and atmosphere. A place for girls to meet, or have dinner with favorite man. The wine list was terrific and glad we walked back to Children's Collections as I ate to much and plan to have dinner here with my husband and use the place for girls lunches!!!!

OVERPRICED!!!. Good Lord, this place is overpriced! The food is good but the portions are tiny and you need to take out a loan to pay the bill.Ridiculous prices.Maybe good for a dinner but wouldn't reccomend for a lunch.

Good food, expensive Mojitos!. The menu is interesting, the food was good, the dessert was beautifully presented but fair in taste (Coconut mousse in a chocolate cage.) The mojito was great but VERY expensive. $9.00 for a shot of rum, some mint, lime, and soda water???? That's ridiculous. The pear, gorgonzola, and walnut salad was very good. The firecracker crab rolls were tasty and the complimentary bread was very unusual and very good.

Upscale, inventive Asian-fusion fare in a neighborhood cafe setting.. In Short
This Bellaire restaurant's mix of elegant decor and Chinese, Japanese and Thai creations makes for a memorable lunch and dinner. Begin any meal with spicy Thai seviche or kataifi shrimp appetizer--baked filo-wrapped shrimp and bacon with tamarind sauce. Don't miss the Gorgonzola salad. Hoisin-marinated rib eye and Korean osso bucco are popular--the latter a braised lamb shank with lotus root. The cafe also offers an affordable wine list.

great food, great atmosphere. My husband & I made reservations for a special event at the restaurant. When we arrived our reservations were not there, but we were quickly accomodated and were given deepest apologies by the management. The service was excellent & our food was divine! We will be back & bringing others with us!
