So Totally Freaked Out!!!. Oh my goodness!! So I open the door and was ready to walk to the counter to place my order and was stopped in my tracks. Why?? The biggest rat I have ever seen (in real life) ran from the right and headed directly to the back. I have never been so disgusted and freaked out at the same time!!! I must have had the most horrific face ever b/c the gentleman that was already in there looked scared when he was asking me what was wrong. Of course I was screaming, "A rat!!" as I was quickly backing out of the door. I will NEVER eat there again!!! Oh and I will make a phone call first thing Monday morning!!!

Not Bad Not Great. I work within close proximity of the restaurant and have only eaten there twice. The food is not bad for the price; however it is not better that PF Chang's. When in the mood for some quick Chinese food it is an okay place to go for the price.

Best Chinese in Houston... BY FAR. This i s by far the best Chinese food restaurant I have ever ate at. It is better than PF Changs and about 30 different smaller places I have tried around Houston and even Japan when I viisited once. Chicken i sbig, juicy and flavorful. Shimp fried rice is absolutley perfect. Staff seems happy... HOW!!!! Most great places work their staff to DEATH!!! This place has a geniuine niceness to it and staff seems happy as heck. I want to invest. Just try it. I am so depressed my new job does not allow me the pleasue to eat here after 4 1 /2 years at my previous job where all 400 of us pigged out here. Trust me, THIS is the jewle of Houston and Chinese, I am a tech and a former Restaurant Manager and no detail and taste.... F...ING AWESOME!!!!!

Noodles - where are they in Houston?. I was spoiled on a number of noodle dishes while working in London. Had a hard time finding a good variety of noodle dishes (not looking for soup dishes) in the Houston area.

This quiet-quick-spot has at least one wonderful noodle dish that includes a variety of meats. Wish there were more choices (different noodles, varying sauses and spices, meat choices and combinations) but the one I keep ordering over-and-over is very tasty.

Staff is very helpful selecting something you would like. Custom orders do not appear to be a problem.

The DISH I would most like to be able to find in Houston but have yet to discover is:

*eb chilli men

stir-fried prawns, green peppers and carrots in a chilli sauce made from fresh chillies, ginger, garlic, onion, lemongrass and red pepper. served-with-ramen-noodles

*-item and description borrowed from the "wagamama" online menu

Great Food Fast & Cheap. Food is great, prices reasonable, service courteous, and quick. Lots of food for the money (dinner combos are less than $7 and come with rice, choice of soup, and either an egg roll, crab puffs, or edamame) and a large menu to choose from. Staff is knowledgable and willing to modify dishes on request. Hot & Sour soup is some of the best I've had and the crab puffs are a divine indulgence. Great little place especially on the weekends when you have a craving for Chinese and don't want to wait forever at that upscale sitdown chain a couple blocks away to settle the craving.

This casual Royal Oaks restaurant offers up traditional Chinese food with a friendly neighborhood attitude.. In Short
Workers from the nearby hospital and local businesses hustle to Spicy Panda at lunchtime for their made-to-order Chinese food. Diners can eat in the quaint and friendly 10-table dining room, take their order to go or even place an order for delivery. The menu features traditional rice and noodle dishes, pork, chicken and beef. There are also soups and a variety of vegetarian dishes.
