Disappointed. I had heard that La Fendee was excellent. Several people told me that the food was good and the portions were huge. I was very disappointed. The chicken consisted of tiny pieces of meat. It was greasy and crumbly. I ordered hummus which was runny and too lemony. Then to add insult to injury, the waiter asked us how the food was, and when we nicely told him our opinion, he said, Sorry. Personally, I think he should have tried to make it right, but he didnt.

a steal. It's so great to find a place that serves good food (and definitely doesn't skimp on portions), is affordable, and lets you bring your own booze, with NO corking fee. The waitstaff is very nice and accommodating, too, letting me make substitutions and actually turning the heater up when I mentioned that it was a little chilly and all the customers were still wearing their jackets at the tables. The only "bad" part was that I tried the fish catch of the day, which was not good at all. BUT all of the other stuff was very tasty that everyone else had....i.e. definitely stick with the chicken, beef, lamb, etc. We are definitely going again, tonight, actually :)
