what happened to the old la fendee?

i used to love this place, but ever since it went under new ownership the quality has really diminished. too bad, it used to be such a gem.

LOVE this place

My husband and I live in Katy and take trips downtown just to eat here. We love the chicken schwarma (sp?), teboulah (sp?) and hummus. I haven't found another Med. restaurant that I like as much as La Fendee (in my area anyways). Convienently, it is located close to my sister-in-law's hair salon...so everytime I get my hair done I treat myself to lunch here! HIGHLY recommend for a great meal!

The food is pretty good but the service....

The first time I went the service was slow
and the waitress was completely incompetent.
How could the waitress confuse our dishes as someone
elses when there are only three other tables in the whole restaurant.
Seriously! The food is pretty good, but I have to agree with a
previous comment about the chicken beingdry....
The hookah is ok, other than that it's a pretty nice place to chillax...
