Humble >Darque Tan
I do not typically take time to write reviews. It has been my philosophy that if an experience is not pleasurable, to take my business to someone that values me as a client. It would be a disservice to the public to not share my story.
They sold my husband a gift card for me for $100.00. I go in to use it and see a huge sign above the register that says, "$49.00 per month" so naturally, I think I can get 2 months of a membership with my gift card. I was not given a contract to sign, only a survey on my skin type.
I turn around and buy a $100.00 gift card for my daughter thinking she was getting a 2 month membership like me. I then learn that the sales girl took it upon herself to sign me up for a guest pass which only includes 5 tans!
Long story short, they will only give me a one month membership. Envision going somewhere and buying a gift card for a store, and giving them $100.00 and then give you a $50.00 gift card. And imagine thinking you can use this gift card any way you see fit, but only after the transaction is complete, the sales clerk gets to decide how you use it.
They also allegedly are kid friendly. However during my 5 minute time period of getting a sunless tan, my 8 year old daughter was waiting out in the lobby. She saw an employee struggling to carry in bottled water and opened the door for her. The employee went in and out and each time my daughter held the door for her. On the last trip, the employee went out, my daughter thought she was coming back in and opened the door for her. The girl behind the register snapped, "Don't open that door again or your mother can't bring you back"
I wish they would refund my money but they feel they are doing me a favor by giving me a month, explaining that they "don't typically make these exceptions".
Save your money folks and go to Mercury Tan up the road. They are way more professional.
