Pushy and bad color selection

I saw someone's favorable review so gave this location a try. They are relentless in pushing upgrades and other services. Have people stopped doing a base coat?

In common with other low cost nail places they don't speak English well, don't look at you, and watch TV or chat among themselves all the time. That's not so bad really, why should they pretend to be interested in you? -- they are just there to do a job inexpensively. But the job wasn't very good, the nail lacquer color selection was poor, no base coat.
