Ashley Burklew - the best bartender on the northside!!. Ashley Burklew has worked for Swig for years and before that both The Boat and Hooters. She started her own Design company recently called AshDesignInc.

Impressive place, nice service. I had read in the other reviews how this bar had such great service. From the second I walked in there all of the staff was really nice. We went on a Tuesday so we missed the usual buffet they are supposed to have but the drinks are cheap, people are nice and the bar itself is pretty nice. I look forward to going there again.

hottest staff on the north side. Swig has great customer service with a laid-back atmosphere. I have been to bars where the service is slow and the staff unfriendly. Swig is the opposite. I frequent many bars and can tell you the staff remembers your name and your drink. It is one of the more personable bars on the northside. The location makes it a great place to meet up and have a shot with friends before heading downtown. Complementary happy hour buffet Wed thru Fri, with great drink specials. Variety of music that caters to every crowd. I definately recomend swig on Fri nights.

Above & Beyond. Swigin It...super friendly staff go above and beyond their duty to please customers! My girlfriends and I like to go out and have a good time...and we can always count on trusty Swig. We either get the party started there or we swing by and "Swig It" on our way home from downtown. PS. Happy Hour Specials Rock!!! PSS. Their Annual Crawfish Bowl is always a blast! Pret-ty sure it's coming up!

The lost art of customer service has been found again. Thank you Swig.. It had been a few months since I had been to Swig, but after realizing that they had a new acoustical band line up I had to see what everyone was talking about. I?ve been back three times in the past two weeks, and the bands have been great. The customer service was even better. I had forgotten why I loved Swig in the first place; their staff is unlike any other in Houston. Swig, sorry I have not been around in a while, but thank you for reminding me what one should expect in customer service, fine drinks, and a great atmosphere.

Northside nightspot featuring nightly drink specials and live acoustic music in a casual, everyone's-welcome atmosphere.. In Short
Swig is a great spot for a casual night out listening to acoustic bands and enjoying a drink. An indoor balcony provides a vantage point for checking out the scene and plenty of TVs and pool tables keep things going. Music fans appreciate the lineup of acoustic bands that perform three nights a week. The beer and mixed drinks crowd packs the bar on Thursdays when it's happy hour all night long.

The Jewel of Houston. Whenever I am in Houston it is a must for me to stop in and see the folks at Swig. The staff is awsome and somehow seems to remember me even though I am only in town once every couple of months. Its like having my own personal corner bar away from home. No matter what day of the week I stop in, I am assured of a great drink special. The best thing is when I come in on a night with live music on the patio.

Swig has what it takes to keep me coming back. It is a must visit if you are in the area of Houston's GB Intercontinental Airport. See ya at SWIG.

awesome atmosphere, great service!. I have never been to a bar that provided such a comfortable atmosphere. the service was incredibable, the bartenders were beautiful and the live band the night i was there was great. To top things off, there was no cover. the drinks were anything but weak... this may just be my second home!
