“it's a great place but for me what makes it rock is Kim!”
“However, the food was ice cold, the service was terribly slow and they sat us in a back corner where the waiter could not even see us.”

SOOO Dissapointed. I was so excited when this place was under construction and I couldn't wait to try it. However, the food was ice cold, the service was terribly slow and they sat us in a back corner where the waiter could not even see us. I was so mad I will NEVER GO BACK.
Excellent Food and Good Service. The Codorniz (Grilled Quail) is outstanding and worth the extra wait. The waitstaff is observant and friendly.
I'm hooked. Good food, good marguritas, good happy hour... it's a great place but for me what makes it rock is Kim!! The most enthusiastic waitress I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. She is awesome and it is a sheer pleasure to hear that Asian accent in a Mexican atmosphere...
MARGARITAS!. El Palenque is a fantastic place to go hang out with your friends and enjoy some good JUMBO margaritas. We had an excellent, attentive server, Robert, that never let our glasses go dry. Very fun, loud atmosphere... good way to start off the weekend.
Great Atmosphere. El Palenque has one of my favorite outdoor patios in the city. It's beautiful, with all of the plants, the fountain and the ornate decorations. The margaritas are wonderful (get the jumbo)! The "Tacos a la plancha" are the best thing on the menu. Nothing else like them around!
