spend your money elsewhere!. It was 1:00 in the morning and there were about 15 people at the pool being extremely loud! I called and the answering service told me there was no longer any security on contract and directed me to call 911! right because the cops are going to stop chasing the murderers, burglars, and drunk drivers, to come break up a few noisy people at an apartment pool! This new management company is HORRIBLE! Their supposed to be bringing all these new wonderful changes but in reality the changes their making don't benefit any of the residents. They got rid of our security and the on-duty police officer that lived on site...but our rent is still paying for it! And then they decided to rip out the perfectly good carpet in the leasing office and club room and install wood flooring in certain areas....for what reason? The carpeting was fine and personally i think the wood looks odd with the cement floors. And then they installed the computer monitors on the desk wall in the business center because i guess the free standing flat monitors were not cutting it. The changes they think are benefiting the community have been rediculous and a waste of money. They are spending their time and effort into pointless changes but can't do simple things like mow the freakin grass that is now 6 inches high. The old management company mowed like 1-2 times a week. Archstone is awful and don't dare blame them for anything because they accept responsibilty for nothing and make excuses without ever just apologizing! Do not move here!!!!!

Good neighbors and location. I have had a few problems with management, but my neighbors and the location are pretty good. I love living downtown because of the proximity to everything, plus no parking costs for Astros' games.
