The French quarter is a little hole in the wall place. That serves food found in La. Granted you are in Houston, Tx. The food is excellant. If you want something other than Fried shrimp, stuff shrimp, or catfish. Well you can get that stuff anywhere. I suggest trying a fish fillet, which they have a variety, and get a seafood topping with that. compared to other places that serve this kind of New orleans style food this place has them beat. Prices on thase things are very cheap. like $18 for a fish fillet and topping!!!!!
- Pros: no line to get a tabl, good parking, never crowded
What a shame

For a restaurant that has you believe it serves food similar to the wonderful full flavors that you find in Louisiana this one is seriously lacking. What a horrible excuse for stuffed shrimp!! Tastless and all breading that coated small shrimp. No flavor. The vegitables that were served on the side were tastless along with the twice backed potatoe. Not sure where this cook was from but it ain't NEW ORLEANS cookin! Not one I would rush back to again that is for sure!!!
- Pros: close to home
- Cons: service, quality of food, ambiance
