Best hair experience every time i go! from the moment i walk in i am greeted by friendly faces at the front desk. My stylist Ricardo is always on time and greets me with a happy face each time i see him. His work is amazing and i receive compliments on my cut and color everywhere i go. In the past i have had trouble getting my idea across of what i want my hair to look like but he is spot on each time.The entire staff is always looking sharp in the latest fashion and hair trends!

great salon!. Salon Matos is a really nice salon. I was looking for a great hair place for a while now and have tried many stylists. Salon Matos is definitely the best. I have been to a few places that were cheaper but honestly it was well worth paying the extra few bucks. A lot of people commented on how great my hair looked after I went there. I went to Jessica and she was awesome. I got the best hair cut that I have had in years. She was really nice and she cut my hair exactly how i had described. Would 100% recommend Jessica and the salon.

Always great service and experience!. I enjoy the staff and the service is worth the money I pay for a hair cut! The staff has changed but the service and experience has not. Keep up the good work! Will be back in 2 weeks!

Best hairdressers in town. Salon Matos is a great!!! Really upscale and 100% focused on customer service. I recommend Richie he's great at what he does!!! very creative and attentive to your needs. He's fabulous and I wouldn't go to anybody else!!!! He's a Rising Star so his prices are very accessible and what's best about the Salon is that you are taken care of as soon as you walk in!!! Check it out for yourself.

Worst Customer Service!. On Saturday, Feb. 19 I was at the salon for an appointment with Maria and experienced the problem of there not being any hot water. The first time this happened was two months ago at my last appointment on Dec. 18. During my appointment I was wondering how a salon functions without hot water for two months and if all customers are as annoyed by it as I am.

The next problem was with my bill and how I found out that I was charged for two types of color service. Maria and David stood by the decision to charge for these two services when I, the customer, was not aware that there would be two different charges. So, apparently, at Salon Matos the customer is not right and, therefore, the salon is willing to lose a customer of 2 years for $45.

This is unfortunate but you definitely have lost a customer who would have spent $100+ on services and products every 6-8 weeks, not to mention, referrals. The management definitely sucks at Salon Matos and what kind of low-rent salon are you running that doesn't have any hot water?

Two Thumbs Up. So, I have been going to Salon Matos for years and let me just say, AMAZING! I've been to a few of the stylists there and they all did a great job, don't get me wrong, but I finally started going to Mackenzie every time. Not only does she get me hair right, but she makes sure that she does what fits my style and what I've asked for. Even on busy days she takes the time to talk to me and catch up, and she always is super friendly. She has done my hair so many times and for every occasion and she has NEVER messed up once. Not only do I trust her 100% to do my hair right and keep it professional, but I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a good stylist. I've recommended her to over a dozen friends and all of them that has gone in to see her ends up loving her and going back to see her again. Two thumbs up for Mackenzie and two thumbs up for Salon Matos.

double booked? Seriously???. The first time was an awesome experience with Shay, so when I needed a cut and color, I called to re-book, letting them know that I was on a time crunch and needed a quick refresh! Since Shay was not available, I was booked with Mackenzie. After waiting almost 30 minutes to be seated in the stylist's area, she finally said hello briefly from another station and spent the next 20+ minutes chatting with another customer and finishing up her highlighting/foiling- after this, she finally came over to the other station and asked what I needed. When I told her I needed a trim and a color, she rolled her eyes, checked her book and stated that she guessed that she would have time (while one of the other girls prepared the color). She then rushed through putting some highlights in for me- no consultation as to how I like them, color choices, etc. She then ushered me over to the dryers where I sat for another 40 minutes while she continued to work with the other client. She briefly came over to turn the heat on and then someone (not Mackenzie) FINALLY came over to check my hair, take out the foil and wash it. After that, I spent another 20 minutes waiting while she and another girl were STILL working on the other client. I have never been ignored so much or double booked with a hair stylist before and after 2 hours, I was completely disgusted, paid for the color and walked out.

Best Salon in the Spring TX area. About one year ago I left a very established upscale salon and came here to Salon Matos.It was a big step for me to leave my past salon for i had been there for 10 years. I have never regretted leaving my old salon and I am pleased that I found this salon! They are so awesome from the front reservation desk to the floor staff. Everyone is friendly and nice and it shows when they deal with their clients. The stylists and colorists are great, always on top of new trends. They really listen to their clients and they care about the needs of their customers. I find that the staff is updated on training and staff is encouraged to continue to improve their craft and therefore reflecting that to being the best salon in the area.

Great Salon!. This Salon is the best! I have always been nervous when trying some place new, but Salon Matos is worth trying out! If your looking for someplace new or want a fresh look go there.

The best part is they offer free wine and beer!

LOVE this salon!. I moved here from South LA almost 3 years ago. I LOVED my stylist in LA and even drove 8 hours back a couple of times in the beginning just to have my hair done. He kept reccomending Salon Matos because he's friends with the owners and knew I'd be completely satisfied. But, I was still hesitant. It's difficult to change stylists and trust someone new... even with the superior raving that my former stylist did.



Well, one of my trips back had to be post-poned so I figured I'd try a different salon closer to my area (Salon Matos is 45 minutes from me)... Horrible experience. I'll leave it at that. So, then I was REALLY hesitant to try another new person.

I looked Salon Matos up on the internet several times. And several times I chickened out until one day I finally made an online reservation. Within moments my phone rang and it was the booking person to suggest a stylist and confirm my appointment. To say I was a little scared when I walked in would be a gross understatement. Melanie greeted me very warmly and made me more comfortable. I was quite impressed with the flow of the salon. It was crowded, which is always a good sign, but it's tempo was upbeat and the pace was set. I rarely ever see anyone just standing around. All of the stylists help each other with their clients. My previous salon only the owner did my hair. I could be in there for 4-5 hours for a highlight, lowlight, shampoo, blowout and style. At Salon Matos I'm always in and out within 2 hours. Less if there is more than 1 person blowing and straightening my hair.

To sum this up, I have been going to Melanie for almost 2 years now and I have always left completely statisfied if not more than overjoyed... In fact, I just went this morning ;)
