STAY AWAY FROM GRAND PARKWAY LUPE TORTILLA. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Thats what i will be telling everyone i know & will be posting on every web site i can find. Got there at 6:42 (got a phone call from my daughter at that time) & left at about 8:10 without getting our food. Instead got a lot of excuses, had to wait for a refill on the long awaited soft drinks...more excuses. When I asked for the manager our waiter grabbed the first guy next to him . Called after I left (to go get my grandson some food), asked for Stan whom I was told is the "manager" got Jesus instead, who put me on terminal hold, then got Toby(if thats his real name) who said he was a managing partner or something. When I asked for Stan the manager he said I needed to go to the website. When I said I wanted to actually speak to him , his response was a rude "thats the only way your gonna get a hold of him, man" Looks like theres already similar posts on Yelp, but I'm just getting started, lets see what else there is, but there will be more that's for sure.

Real disappointed!. Claustrophobic place, We wait One Hour to get our food and we did not receive any valid excuse or a attention from the manager and the server had a very bad attitude. They have a sand box with race cars and is set up on very unsafe way. That was our first and last time there, and as a bonus my stomach is very upset thanks to their food.

This happened at the original location at Stafford.

Best Fajitas. I absolutely love their fajitas!!! They usually have a crowd, due to being so popular. This is my absolute favorite place for Mexican food. The atmosphere is a little on the loud side, which works great for us since we have a child. She just joins in on the noise. So, definitely not a place for a romantic dinner. Can I just stress that they have the BEST fajitas!

Some of the best fajitas I have had in Houston. Lupe's really has some of the best beef fajitas in the Houston area. They have great margaritas as well. The only minor issue I have is that the food that does not have fajitas as their base is just mediocre. But who are we kidding, you go to Lupe for the margaritas and for the beef. The chicken ones are not bad but chicken fajitas taste the same no matter where you go.

The place fills up so get their early for lunch. They have a nice room in the back for when you have a office lunch and the management there has always been very nice about reserving it for us. I like this location a lot better than the one on Kirby because if you show up at noon or on a weekend evening you can dine within a few minutes. At the Kirby location it may be upwards of an hour.

My only true complaint is that they have no vegetarian options. All the beans and rice have some kind of meat base to them and I believe the tortillas have a touch of lard used in them. So if you are a vegetarian ask before you order to be safe.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because i can't enjoy it with my wife who is a vegetarian.

It's easy to find better food for a better price. Growing up in the Houston area, I've had my share of Mexican and Tex-Mex food. Everything from little hole-in-the-wall places to the big Chains. Lupe is decent food to be sure, but I found that the amount of food is meager for the price. Their salsas are usually quite good, but the best thing that can be said for Lupe is that, as you might guess from their name, they do have some of the best tortillas I have ever had. They're very warm, flaky and soft, but strong enough to hold a fair amount of fajita fixins. But don't expect to be blown away by their enchilladas, beans or rice. Ultimately, if you don't mind the price, it's a good pick to fill your tortilla cravings.

Best Fajitas Ever. My husband & I visit this place often and each time we always leave please. The fajitas are the best the taste is unbelieveable. I don't know what they are doing, but they need to tell the other restaurants in town. The tortillas are as big as your plate, I can't complaint about anything the portions sizes are huge and the margaritas are good and strong just like they should be. If you have out of town guest treat them to Lupe's my mother lives in North Texas and loves to go to Lupe's when she comes to visit. If you try to dine on the weekends the wait can be long, but it's worth it.

Family-friendly and Tex-Mex skilled, this outpost satisfies the craving for home-style fare in a cheerfully painted casa.. In Short
Expect a colorful and inviting atmosphere at this local Tex-Mex chain. From stacked-high chalupas to grilled chicken soft tacos or sizzling beef fajitas, the grub's worth gearing up for. Plates like chicken-stuffed poblano or fajita steak Lupe are cheesy, big deals while calorie counters can pick up tacos al carbon, grande ensalada verde or no-meat tacos. Important little details such as creamy handmade guacamole, spicy jalapeno nachos and non-oily tortilla chips with smoky tomato salsa are also done right.
