Great coffee spot. If you're looking for a coffee shop that is very different from Starbuck's, Taft Street may be a great place for you to try. I love the alternative decor and ambiance, and the Vietnamese coffee is sweet and strong. Free wireless internet is also a nice addition. I would recommend this place to students who want a good place to study.
Must See. I love Taft Street Coffee, and drive about half an hour regularly to enjoy it. Great atmosphere, wifi, concert space/art exhibit/book store all in one. When you visit, try the Vietnamese Coffee, or the Soy Dirt. Great drinks.
great place. The people here are fantastic!! The coffee has a conscience. The wonderful art gallery is an extra bonus as is the versatile selection of books. If you want to make a difference come to this eclectic, urban coffee house.
Great coffee, free internet.
Great fair trade, organic coffee. If you know anything about the fair trade movement, the buying practices demand the best coffee from growers. This is good stuff, and it helps growers in developing countries, too!
The shop has free high-speed wireless. Don't pay for Internet somewhere else!
The shop has a small bookstore with carefully selected titles related to literature, spiritual contemplation, and social justice.
On Wednesdays and Saturday mornings, Taft Street hosts the Central City produce cooperative, a great place to buy locally grown organic produce at a fraction of grocery store prices.
