Delicious Dive. This place is GREAT! Seriously the prices are cheap and the food is DELICIOUS! I recommend the Kung Pao Chicken it's flavorful and has veggies in it, unlike some places that serve it. The new owners are quite nice, and have upgraded a lot of things like the credit card machine they now take Amex which is a plus for me. I would definitely recommend Montrose Chinese Restaurant for take-out and delivery. Although I would take a group bigger than maybe 5 to dine-in I'd recommend them for dine in as well.

Good Delivery/Take Out Option. These folks take great care of us. We order from them fairly often, and they're always friendly, delivery is fast, and the food is good. When you pick up at the restaurant, you find it reassuringly clean, which is nice to know. Great MuShu Pork, good hot & sour soup, decent dumplings and eggrolls, and General Tso's chicken that leaves you wanting better, but they deliver, they're fast, they're clean, they're consistent, and if you work around the dishes that fall a little short, there's still a great deal to like about the menu. The restaurant itself pretty much has to survive on take out, because it's tiny and has almost no parking. If you do eat there, don't expect much beyond a clean table in a bright white sterile dining room. They handle credit cards even for delivery orders with efficiency. My only gripe there is they don't take Amex.

RUDE!!!!. I called to place an order for delivery, and they said I was too far to deliver to! I put their address in mapquest and mine as well, and I am only 1.5 miles away!!! I called again just to verify, thinking maybe they misunderstood, and they hung up on me!!! Rude staff, not sure about the food, because they won't deliver to me!!!

best chinese food in houston. the food is awesome, definately the best chinese take out in houston. really high quality ingredients, fairly big portions and it is always really hot and really fast. I love this place, I go for lunch at least once a week.
