if only. I loved this place! I really enjoyed the tasting last Saturday and really appreciated having a place to go to learn more about wine! I thought the tasting was a good value, and I bought a wine that was also well priced. However, some of the staff were less than friendly. Betsy was knowledgeable and welcoming, but others were condescending and rude. The Tasting Room was just the place I was looking for, but no one wants to pay money to someone who makes them feel ridiculous. I hope the Mid town staff is friendlier.

Kudos. I'm amazed every time I go to the Tasting Room. I have been frequenting wine bars (mostly in the north) for many years now and the selection, price and quality of wines I find here are equal if not better than any of the best places I have been. Also, the prices are lower than any other wine bar I have been to. Keep up the good work!

Great for the connoisseur or the curious. The Tasting Room provides a friendly environment for any level of wine drinker. Matthew is extremely helpful and invests significant effort to identify what the patron is looking for. If you know where your preferences are or are just trying to learn the basics of wine, the staff is very helpful and talented at finding something that will make you happy. Whether you know what you are interested in or would like the staff to surprise you, they will do everything they can to make you leave remembering an exceptional experience. I have always had a fabulous experience.

Delightful. This is an excellent place to hang out with your girls for a couple of glasses of wine and light snacks. The location is ideal in Uptown Park and is a place we visit as often as we can! The selections by the glass can't be beat!

yummmy. the best wine bar i have been to.... i drive all the way from Kingwood to get to this quaint wine bar ...the service is supoerb ..at least when i have been there and the ambience...especially if you sit outside by the huge trees...and the breeze of houston air:)

anyone and everyone that loves wine should give this place a try.

good for houston!. The Tasting room is a great addition to our city. The wine selection is first rate-extremely well selected inventory. The atmosphere is very attractive and comfortable (the only drawback is not enough seating when it's crowded). The menu is somewhat minimal (mostly cheese) but it was very high in quality and taste. My girlfriend and I have been several times now and have had great experiences. Beware, it is often hopping and crowed during happy hour!

Great place to unwind. This is a great place to take a date or a small group of friends. The wines by the glass are affordable, especially the featured wines (check the board upon entering). The dim lighing provides for an enjoyable experience. The only thing I think they could beef up, is their selection of cheeses for the cheese plate. (not very tasty) However, I'll definately be returning in the future.

wine lovers paradise. I am so impressed with this place. Every time my wife and I stop in, I try something new. The staff has always been very helpful and some of them even remember my own personal tastes. Since I started coming here, my palette has grown considerably and I just wanted to offer Kudos to the staff. Thanks!

FUN PLACE!. My girlfriends and I met at The Tasting Room for drinks after work. The music was cool. The staff was super friendly and I had a great time! This is going to be my new after work hangout. If you are looking for a new and fun hotspot, you should go. I'll see you there after work!!

LOVED IT.. It's about time....Finally a wine drinkers alternative to hanging out at the coffee shop! Excellent and unique wine selection (unlike another "wine bar" in town) and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
