“Since I didn't order the salad, I don't know how it was, but besides being small for a $7.99 salad, it just didn't look very appealing.”
“Very Prices but that inflation, but i love the fact that they delivery all the way here in JFk that a 14 Mile drive just coming from Atascocita i give the driver a 5 dollar tip and he is happy it may may take 1 hour for delivery, but it worth it when good”
“You only have one chance to make a first impression, and my first impression is that Sarpino's Pizzeria is over-priced with small portions that are chency on ingredients and horrible service.”

They Delivery to JFK ...GREAT SALADS. Very Prices but that inflation, but i love the fact that they delivery all the way here in JFk that a 14 Mile drive just coming from Atascocita i give the driver a 5 dollar tip and he is happy it may may take 1 hour for delivery, but it worth it when good tasting and good variety, Now they have this new Rasberry Vingrette dressing for there salad i woul die for.. I just wish there was a closer one. They also have a nice dinning area
A 2 HOUR wait for this???.
I had never heard of Sarpino's, but decided to give it a shot.
Two coworkers and I ordered a regular meatball calzone, a large Italian calzone and a chicken ceasar salad to be delivered. After about an hour I called to find out where our order was. I was told it was on its way. After 2 hours and ten minutes, it showed up. This is no exaggeration, the order was place at 12:03 (according to their ticket on the box) and delivered at 2:13. No apology, no phone call, nothing.
Since I didn't order the salad, I don't know how it was, but besides being small for a $7.99 salad, it just didn't look very appealing. Maybe it wilted after the first hour.
I had ordered the large calzone hoping to eat half today and half tomorrow. You'd think that for $8.99, it would be a large portion, but it was actually smaller than what most restaurants consider their regualr calzone.
On a positive note, it actually looked delicious; however, I found out that it was mostly dough, and cold dough at that. What little fillings were there were mainly onions and peppers. Not only is meat a limited resource at Saprino's, but apparently, so is marinara. To be fair, if my calzone had been hot, the dough would have been pretty good. I'm not saying that I'd pay $8.99 for a good mini loaf of bread, but for $1.99 it would have been a deal.
The kicker was that the delivery guy handed me the food as I handed him the money. And as I turned to set the food down, he was out the door. I guess he assumed that a $5 tip on a 2 hour plus delivery was standard. You're welcome pal.

I do have to admit that the name is good. Sarpinos.
Great Pizza. This is my second-favorite pizzeria in Houston. Wonderful pizza and cheese sticks.
