Cool Irish guy. I loved the bear, the food was awesome, the people were nice and the guy that owns it is full of personality. If you want a truly different bar experience go to the bear.

BEST KAROAKE IN HARRIS COUNTY. The bartenders, waitresses and regulars are terrific at making people feel at home. Just say "hello" and you'll find a friend. The karaoke is the best in Harris County - a sound that beats them all.

smoke city. went into this place about 3 pm one day before the crowd hit. it smelled like cheap beer and smoke. there was no one in the place, but all you could smell was the smoke. and the bartenders sat there and smoked the whole time. the food was straight out of cans

Wonderul little place. I read all the reviews on here before and after I went to The Bull and Bear this evening for the first time. I really disagree with that the place smells of cheap beer, and is lit by cheap neons. Actually I only saw one neon in the whole place and like to lighted promo signs. The staff was genuinely friendly and the bartender was very funny and made my husband and I feel very at home. It got really busy and kinda smokey around happy hour, but it's a bar, what do you expect! :) The beer selection was great and the chicken curry was out of this world. There is no way the food is from a can, my husband had the fish and chips and loved it! I can't wait to go again and more beers!

hail hail Liam Scotland. i was in Texas for first time it was recommended to me by a friend, i must say "i the best entertainment i have had " i Will be going back in June and it will be first place i will be heading for . the staff are great and very welcoming, and the regulars make you feel at home. HAIL HAIL

Smokey but otherwise, recommended!. I'm a regular visitor to this Westside tavern & eatery. The place is very smokey, but the great food, bartenders, waitresses, and huge beer selection make up for it! I highly recommend the Bull & Bear for Friday night karoke!

Faux British Pub For Those Whom Haven't Traveled. The name conjures images of grand English pubs - but the inside is nothing more than an American sports bar peppered with oversize screens, bad neon lighting and air so smokey I recommend bringing an oxygen tank. This place has potential, but it's been lost on Texans.

i. i've been there several times. i had met several of the bartenders and waitresses before and was glad to see they were still there. the food is fantastic and really is not what i would expect from what i thought was a bar. it really has become a TAVERN N EATERY. it was nice to see a lot of westside regulars that habe picked bnb as their spot. now i hope to go to try their breakfast now that they do it every weekend. (they've done it for a yr now). it is cool to see this great and familiar crew in a great new bar.
