Settled at the edge of Midtown Houston at W. Gray and Waugh, The Tavern on Gray is home to the longest bar in Texas and possibly the longest Happy Hour. Expect crowds of sports fans and after-work happy hour groups enjoying the large projector screens and unobstructed views of over 100 TVs. There's always a game on our screens and those inclined to more participatory pleasures can play darts, ping pong, trivia, pool or even foosball. In Short – A Union Jack above the ivy-covered entrance pays homage to the traditional English pub. Inside, affable patrons dish lively conversation while watching sports (think American football, as opposed to the European variety) on one of many TVs. Cozy booths are an added bonus. Crowds may be lured here for spirits and sports, but other diversions include an Internet jukebox that plays more than 130,000 songs, a raucous karaoke night (every Tuesday) and good pub grub.

Great Pub - Incredible Steaks

Always loved it as a Pub / Sports Bar. Just recently had a Steak on their Steak Night ( a Sunday ) it was incredible. Better than the expensive steak houses for only $15 !!!!!!!!!
