VERY PREJUDICE ID CHECKERS (fake bouncers). The four of us decided to go there one night on their steak night. Their ID checker people said that white t-shirts weren't allowed. We respected their rules, so we went to our cars and changed our shirts. When we came back, the ID checkers said that one of my friend's shorts were too baggy. But when we looked in, we saw plenty of white people wearing white t-shirts and baggy shorts. The should let it be known and put up a sign. "DRESS CODE FOR EVERYONE ELSE BESIDES WHITE PEOPLE" The Tavern on Gray should consider letting those ID CHECKERS before they lose a lot of good customers. There are plenty of other places that have the steak night deal and they do not practice RACIAL PROFILING.
Pros: average cost for a decent steak
Cons: no service for any other skin color besides white

who does the math on this website the same people who count election ballots in florida, this place has 3 or 4 five star reviews and like 19 one stars WTF. if they had a half of a star i wouldn't even give them that as a rating. the only thing that saves them is their steaks are awesome but their waitstaff and managers stink bad. if you want to be treated like cr*p and get r&ped on the price of steak go to a waffle house or something i mean seriously there could be nothing worse than this service. HERE IS HOW THEIR Bar/Club INFO SHOULD READ BECAUSE AS IT STANDS RIGHT NOW IT IS INACCURATE: Smoking : Yes and so will you when you see your credit card statement the day after Atmospheres: sports bar, poor service, wait for beer like your in the welfare line waiting for cheese, we will provide the same service and hospitality as hitler provided for jewish people. Parking Lot: do you have four wheel drive? Hours: I hope you have a lot of free hours cause you can wait up to 30 mins to get a pitcher of beer because the male waitstaff have priorities like burying their weiner into the tramp at the other end of the bar so why make a trip down to your end of the bar if they have to give up their pursuit of wetness. Dress Code: Casual (as long as you tip cause if you dont we will assume you are wearing baggy clothes) and you can't be Black Payment type: all plastic will be accepted (as long as we can go back and charge a larger tip than what you left because here at the tavern we feel poor service should be over compensated for)
Pros: i felt like kicking the manager in the face
