The Scene – Gorgeous wood accents, flowers and zebra-print barstools make for a dramatic setting. Young couples rub shoulders with regulars seated at two-top tables or the luxurious bar. Count on watchful service and quality stemware to match the fine wines. The vibe is relaxed even though the bar is set with fine linens and china. Specialty cocktails, such as the invigorating RDG margarita, are hand-shaken at your side. – – The Food – Less pricey than Cafe Annie, the bar features bistro appetizers, salads and streamlined entrees with a Southwestern slant (there's…
A little disappointed

Had the pleasure of going to this restaurant twice before the change, even treated Sir James Galway to dinner last year. Café Annie was intimate with incredibly creative food choices. Galway flipped over the restaurant. Had the opportunity to return to the restaurant a few weeks ago, now Bar Annie. The food was good, but not like it was at the Café. It felt like just another nighttime hot spot. The intimacy was gone. Bring back the Café!
- Pros: excellent service
- Cons: not what it used to be
Exceptional Servce

My beau and I went to Bar Annie for dessert. We ordered Ice Cream Sundae & Pecan Pie which was yumy. I was a bit annoyed RDG was written all over the menu (like it was the most significant thing about the place).
The ambiance was great, a bit packed and interestly enough we didn't have dinner there. Maybe next time =/ It took them 10 minutes to serve us!
The crowd is for older folks with $$$$. The only young person I saw was the hostess!
Even though the little time we spend I EXPECTED the experience to be superb! Even if it's dessert, wine, coffee or my age.
I will come back to hopefully write an extremely pleasant review.
- Pros: Great pecan dessert
- Cons: slow service, Sundae was TOO rich, Port wine list n/a
Rude, patronizing service

We were not happy with our experience here. The drinks were watered down and relied heavily on artificial mixes. Wait and bar staff were arrogant and not particularly knowledgeable; some even rude. Ambience was very Cheesecake Factory. Location is in a strip mall!
- Pros: Plentiful parking; uncrowded
- Cons: Poorly-made, watered-down cocktails; rude bar and wait staff; strip mall location
