With their reasonably priced delicious sandwiches, this place has become one of my favorite venues in this area. I encourage everybody to come here and dine!

PRESSED!. If you have been here, you will admit, it is great. But if you haven't written "PRESSED" on the line that has 'other:' written before it you sir have missed out! It is the best sandwich invention ever! So many people don't know this is possible but it is the best.

Yum yum!. Stopped at this location while visiting the Sprint store next door. Didn't know what to expect, but figured "hey I'm here why not" and now I'm glad I did. Ordered a medium rare roast beef sandwich on jalapeno bread, cheese, lettuce, and honey mustard. I tatsed and and said to my self "its like they know me or something". The food was perfect. I'll do this again when ever I'm in the area again :)

fantastic food & fast service. i love brown bag. the staff is great! sandwiches made-to-order are cheaper that junk you would buy in the cooler of a gas station. i bring my boss, friends from the neighborhood, family, everyone to brown bag. easily the best sandwiches in houston.

Execellent Food, but don't bother calling in!. The food is execellent and I love the brown bag menu that you mark yourself. My ONLY complaint is that they need to have a place to pick up phone-in orders. I had a fairly large order, which I called in beforehand so i wouldn't have to wait. I showed up to pick up my order, which was sitting right by the register, but was told that I couldn't pay for it, I had to stand in line behind the 17 other people (yes, I counted them) waiting to place their orders. What should have taken 10 minutes tops, took 45 minutes. Other places have a separate window for phone-in orders, or at least let you go ahead and pay, why can't they?? Other than that, the food is absolutely fantastic, best deli sandwich I've ever had!

Great Lunch Spot. This place is great if you want to get a quick bite to eat and you don't want to eat a heavy meal. The tuna salad, the breads, and the cheese are top quality.

Cool inner-loop neighborhood deli with design-your-own sandwiches at bargain prices.. The Scene
The welcoming counter-service concept created by the Barnaby's restaurant group is fast and easy. All walks of life hustle in for the sandwich deals. Modern aluminum chairs and tables fill the tiny, beige room that offers lots of sunlight and reading material. Order at the counter by marking your order on--you guessed it--a brown bag.

The Food
Custom-order your sandwich prepared with Boar's Head meats, quality cheeses, and a choice of Sheila Partin's sweet signature breads. Sturdy egg salad garnished with dill features a light mayonnaise base, as does the clean-tasting chicken salad and white albacore tuna with pecans. Conversely, red potato salad is as luxuriously creamy as the old-fashioned lemon crème dessert. Fruit salad is crispy-fresh with melon balls, berries and pineapple. Desserts include rich iced chocolate cake or dense, moist apple spice cake.
