Keeps getting worse

I live near here so have visited Madras a few times, and each time I wished I had just drove to India's instead. A few weeks ago was the last time I visited about 11:30 am, and the place looked dead. Since we were early, I expected a fresh buffet, but instead, everything looked overcooked, and tasted bland. I hear the other Madras is good, but the one in Sugar Land...not so much.

Good food but dirty (and unhygienic) furniture

Madras Pavillion in SugarLand serves good food but probably we will stop going there to eat as furntiture (esp. sofas/chairs) etc are very dirty & old. I never understand why the management can't fix it.

I love the food there but my kids don't want to go there because of dirty funiture and hence unhygienic conditions in the restaurant at Sugar Land location. I guess reatsuarnt owners need to understand that people come to restaurants to enjoy food as well as ambience or in other words for overall good experience & food.

Worst Indian Food in Town

I strongly suggest against going to Madras Pavilion. The food is horrible. There was not even a single item on the buffet that was fresh and tasty.

If you are looking for stale food and bad service go for it... otherwise there are much better places around town.
