College nights and poetry nights fuel the contradictory appeal behind this popular downtown nightclub.. The Scene
An ambitious remodeling effort has increased this club's street cred. Once a struggling lounge, this exciting dance club is the place for hip-hop lovers and University of Houston scenesters. Towering rows of white humidor lockers echo the brilliant white color scheme that envelopes the entire club. The bar and dance floor meld seamlessly into one space, and the exposed VIP area, elevated above the side bar, provides added comfort while maintaining semblance with the main room.

The Draw
With U of H located down the block, college nights are especially busy. Incredible drink specials like $1 Long Island iced teas and domestic bottles keep the bartenders hopping. Friday nights, once informally known as Asian nights, are now Latin night. Sunday night is poetry night, when local poets entertain from 7pm until the last couplet is read.
