Terrible experience – The control panel on our Whirlpool washing machine went out in late September and since this is an issue with the type of machine we have, Whirlpool replaced the control panel free of charge. ASI showed up during the window and swapped out the panel - easy enough?
Fast foward to December when we pulled the machines out to dust behind and underneath and there are severe rust stains on our brand new tile under the washing machine! A slow leak I assume as I've never noticed water under the machine. I called ASI and this isn't part of the rework they did and wouldn't be covered under warranty regardless. Whirlpool says it's ASI's fault and they aren't liable. I'm calling my own trustworthy appliance repairman to see what the real issue is, but I have a feeling ASI screwed something up when they replaced the panel.

returned after 3 weeks, finally fixed the refrigerator and told me that i would have to remove all the food from the freezer for 24 hours before the machine will be functional surprise surprise
so i end up buying $30 worth of dry ice to stuff the food from the freezer to ice coolers
total cost of experience $500, botheration,priceless!
ironically problem recurred today was informed that since the repair is over 30 days i would have to pay $85 just for the visit
i would highly recommend ASI to all my enemies
worst customer service – I cannot even rate this company it is so bad-- and talking to a manager was like talking to a moron--will never recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!! don't know why whirlpool uses them but I will definately be complaining to them about this company,,,,
ASI Appliance has Terrible Customer Service – ASI Appliance did not honor an appointment we made for service, and then when we complained, they said we made up the appointment and were extremely rude to us on the phone. It was incredible that they would treat a customer this way. They are very rude and we recommend that no one ever use them.
Terrible Service – April 30th - Approval was received and parts to be ordered.
May 17th - ASI comes out to house with wrong parts. Technician wrote wrong model number on the work order. We were told that the correct parts would be expedited and sent out ASAP.
May 18th - When I called to confirm parts have been ordered. I was told this had been done and the correct parts would be shipped to our house. Parts should arrive in 3 days. Service technician was supposed to come out between 2-5. Arrived 30 minutes past scheduled time.
May 21st - I called ASI to confirm shipment and get tracking number as they should be arriving at my house today. This is when I was told the parts were not ordered as the technician was supposed to call me and get the correct model number. I had already provided this to them on May 18th and was told on May 18th that the parts were on order.
Now I am told they will be ordering the parts today and they will be expedited to ASI and not to my house as originally told by ASI. Parts should arrive on May 26th.
May 26th - Called ASI to see if parts have arrived. I was told they should be in the shipment that was in however, they needed to verify and I would be getting a call back to schedule service call.
May 27th - ASI called to say parts should be in tomorrow May 28th and they would go ahead and put me on the schedule for to come out on June 1st and replace parts.
June 1st - Service call is for 11-2. Technician does not arrive until 3:30 p.m. Parts were replaced however, the oven is still not working. Now waiting for a 4th time to come out and fix problem!!!!!!!
Would not use these people EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
Great place to waste your money. – This is a service organization with the motto that they service people, not just machines. That was absolutely NOT my experience. They scheduled my service call no less than a week away and would not give me a time or window until AFTER I had to leave for work. The same for the part replacement, which was the wrong part anyway and didn't fix my problem. The technician stood me up on one follow up call. Ridiculous waste of time and money...call someone else like I ended up doing.
Best Appliance Company, Especially in Galveston – They were very prompt and Fixed my Dryer the first time, which has to be the first time that has ever happened to me since I moved here. They had to order the part (which took a week) and it was on back order which was not their fault but Maytag's. I was worried because of the other two review's posted. But as soon as they got the part they came out and repaired it the next day. No Hassle and no Worries. They are a very good company and I will continue to do business with them.
The worst service possible – My husband and I purchased a home from DR Horton. Unfortunately, through the warranty, our Whirlpool appliances are serviced through ASI Appliance. I have never dealt with a company more unprofessional. It took us 2 months to get a service call set up. Whenever it would be confirmed, they wouldn't show up. Then when we would call, they wouldn't even have us on their appt. list. Sometimes, they would call us at 7:00 in the morning and tell us that they would be there in 30 minutes - on THAT day. Hello....we work for a living! Whenever, we would tell them that they just couldn't call and just drop in on the same day - they would get ticked off at us. We would ask them if we could 'set' a definitive appointment on a particular day. Forget it! They do not work that way. They do NOT make appointments. Can you believe that? When we finally got someone to come out - guess what? They had no idea what they were doing. Trust me people...do NOT use this company! If you want your appliance fixed and treated like a human being, go somewhere else!!!
RIP OFF – Several hours late than promised. I was already apalled that I can to have my 1.5 year old appliance serviced. Charged $150 to install a $20 part in less than 15 minutes. Charged a trip charge and then a service charge.
