WEIRD EXPERIENCE. It is Monday, September 27. I have just enjoyed a weekend on the Kemah Boardwalk. It is wine festival. Can't say that the food or service at Landry's is bad, but what I stumbled onto was. I am sitting at the bar and a young man comes in and has a drink at the bar. He was nice looking clean cut young black kid. He tells two black servers to meet him at Terrace Cafe later. They kick the kid out. I ask another employee what was that all about and she tells me that they only go to zone 504, ; and Terrace cafe is not welcome. She further tells me that they are boycotting Terrace Cafe because they will not let them cuss. So, I had to go to Terrace Cafe after that. I first went to Zone 504 and saw the staff and managers from Landry's hanging out together. It was cool. A good mix. A large fat Irish looking red-headed girl and the two black guys who had kicked the clean cut kid out of Landry's from earlier in the evening, ...even the skinny manager from Landry's was there. Then I went to Terrace Cafe. It was a cool place and , yes...they didn't allow cussing .....what a concept. It was refreshing and I had fun. Shame on Landry's for picking on a little mom and pop place...... GROW Up!!!!

Good food - great atmosphere. We were seated promptly and during our meal, the waiter was attentive yet not hanging aroudn the table aggrivating us.

I had the Seafood Penne di Mare and it was GREAT! I ate every bite of the leftovers I brought back to the hotel. My husband was pleased with his Jambalaya Pasta and the 3rd person with us really like his stuffed flounder. The house salad was good and I even brought the rest of that with me too.

I can't really say anything bad about the place. We ate at a Landry's in Pensacola that was good as well.

We are from south Louisiana, and are picky about our seafood and anything with a 'cajun' theme. Landry's did not disappoint.
