“Little Woodrow's is a great location to meet coworkers from Downtown after work, or for Midtown residents to hang out watching football games.”
“live less than a block away and this is probably my favorite bar in the area.”
“Food would be good too, but i see people ordering from other places.”

The Midtown location of this laid-back bar chain boasts the largest seating, so bring the whole gang. Watch out for their regular turtle races.
this place is run by a handful of idiots, and is frequented by a plethora of douche bags... if the crazy bums/drunks don't get you the drunken college frat retards will... Oh yea and if you are lucky enough to fight your way to the bar the bartenders are completely inefficient and inappropriate... As far as watching games there on the weekend, good luck with that because all the good seats will be filled up and the TVs outside have such a bad glare on them that you wont be able to watch the game anyways.
Feels like home. if you are more into easy going drinking you need to park it at Little Woodrows. Especially if there is a game on and its nice outside. Reminds me of those great college bars that you can relax at and not take life too seriously! The patio is very large and def the place to hang when the weather is right. The beer selection is outstanding and you will never have to worry about trying to throw money at a bartender to get their attention! Great place to sit back, sip a cold one a not have a care in the world.
Watch out for the beggars. It was our first experience with Littlle Woodrows, Midtown and with respect to the Bar it was fine. Parking in the area was a bit confusing, I would probably opt to park at some of the areas close by, but I went one street over and parked on the street. Immediately was accosted by a homeless man, who was going to "watch my car", then right before entering was accosted once again, by a homeless man who also wanted to watch my car, plus he had a bucket with him so I think he also wanted to wash my car. We only stayed a few hours and so it was still early when we went back to the car and was accosted for the 3rd time by another homeless man.
When your figured out that the clubs are lame in midtown this is the bar to go to to relax and grab a bite.... First I went to Deco and it was all Indian night or something the smell of curry imenating and no room to move around and bartender served girls and high rollers only...then I went to some supposedly upscale club in midtown and was racialy profiled at the door kept walking and ran into Little woodrows. Had a few beers and some convo with some of the bargoers there the game was on and there was a lady selling taco's outside my type of place.... Some shennanigans insued in trying to light the outdoor heater and then a drunk watered in the shrub over in the patio area.. Just normal crazy night out stuff ... lol... actually it was cool though no single ladies on a Friday night, but they were probably at the club I wasn't let into down the street...lol midtown is a joke but little Wodrow's was sanctuary....
Very good beer selection. I'm not sure what "it" is, but little woodrows seems to have it. It's kind of surprising that considering they only sell beer and wine (no hard stuff) and that you can throw a stick and land a dozen bars in midtown, they're always full. I've been coming for years off and on and they WERE mid-town before there was a mid-town. Who knows, maybe it's the pretty "beertenders" who tease and make you feel like you have to be cool enough to order from them, the open air, or the football. It WOULD be nice if they ever got a liquor license however...or maybe a bathroom that has more than two stalls that doesn't put you "out there" when the door is opened. Food would be good too, but i see people ordering from other places.
No Pretense. Jeans & T-Shirt: OK. It's one of the only places in midtown without a snobby crowd. The prices are average and the waitresses are hot. I live less than a block away and this is probably my favorite bar in the area.
Popular after work spot for downtown professionals in search of ice cold beer and outdoor seating..
In Short
The smallest of the Little Woodrow's clan makes up for its size with a giant wooden patio. This relaxed beer garden boasts the same amenities that have made Little Woodrow's a local institution: more than 100 beers (22 on tap), happy hour specials and a sports-friendly crowd. A wall of garage doors open to bring in the outdoors. Pool tables, Golden Tee and TVs tuned to the game add to the entertainment.
User review by aggiechance. Lil Woodrows is the classic midtown bar. It's wonderful for meeting up with friends, grabbing beers (especially the post 9p happy hour), and watching sports on the big tvs. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to dress casually, sit outside with the patio doors open, and have good conversation. Its rarely too loud and even has a Golden Tee.
Great Happy Hour Location. Little Woodrow's is a great location to meet coworkers from Downtown after work, or for Midtown residents to hang out watching football games. Pitchers of beer can be purchased for $5 after 9:00 PM (every night I think). Also, they have free bbq on Sunday's during football season. If you like outdoor seating with a view of Downtown, then you'll love it here. Plenty of parking in lot or on street.
