will NEVER tan here agin. I used to tan here for a while and received average service. one day i came in and was told to wait because all the beds were occupied and others were waiting as well. after having driven the 20 minutes to get there, i waited for about half an hour and then was told by the owner's 40-something year old daughter that they were closing for the day and i would have to come back the next day! i asked her why she couldn't have estimated that 30 minutes ago and she got very rude, raised her voice and was sure to point out several times that she was "the owner's daughter!". after that day the staff became very unprofessional towards me, giving cold looks and sharp, short answers to anything i said or asked. it didn't seem fair to have to endure such rude treatment during a time that was supposed to be peaceful. i finally decided it would be best to just find another tanning place that actually values its customers.

To unhappy customer. As the owner of Cabana Tans nothing makes me more unhappy than a customer that doesn't feel they got good service or personal attention from myself or my staff. The staff and I attend National Tanning Conventions and Seminars on tanning throughout the year. One of the things that we learn at these events is how to take care of our equipment so that our customers receive the maximum amount of tan for their money. Products that are sold at drugstores, discount stores, etc. do ruin the acrylics in our beds. (We have one acrylic on display in our waiting room to show the effect of these products.) I do not care if a customer does not purchase their tanning lotion from us, but we do require that it is purchased from a tanning salon. We carry a very large selection of lotions ranging from $15 on up. In response to jen22584 she was using a spray oil which no tanning salon OWNER would allow in their beds. The ages of my employees: 22, 40 and I am 71. The two employess that are 18 and 19 are never working alone, but with one of the three above. I can only say that we try.. and there is an old saying "that you can not please everyone all the time," seems to be the only answer in this situation. I hope she finds a salon that she is happy tanning with.

bad tanning place? i think not greatest place ive ever been to tan!!!!!. pepole who go to this great tanning salon always come back,even if they miss the first day.the service is always great and they are very experinced in tanning salons,and they give great advice on lotions and tanning bed levels.and whoever said the maneger was mean must be completly insane,ive known the owner for quite a while and ive never be mean to pepole even if they were complete jerks.I recommend this place to ANYBODY of all ages from 5+ its a great place.dont listen to those criticts the only reason they critisize is because they dont have a life themselves :).so try it just for 1 week and if you dont like the service then im sorry but ive always found excelent service there.

Most knowledgable and friendly staff (especially if you're new!). I started going to Cabana Tans about 6 or 7 months ago. This was my first tanning experience. The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly. The owner is the sweetest woman you could meet, she's very friendly and outgoing to all of her clients. She shows her care and expertise in her business and can get you the type of results you want. I recommend Cabana Tans to everyone who wants a professional staff, knowledgable owner, extremely clean and sanitary atmosphere, and great results!

THE BEST PLACE I'VE EVER TANNED AT !!!. I'M NOT SURE WHAT THOSE OTHER PEOPLES PROBLEM IS BUT ANY BODY WHO HAS EVER TANNED KNOWS THAT LOTION IS THE KEY TO A GREAT TAN AND THAT BANNANA BOAT LOTION IS NOTHING BUT JUNK. I TOO ONCE BOUGHT LOTION OFF THE INTERNET AND WHEN I STARTED USING IT , IT BROKE MY SKIN OUT BECAUSE I FOUND OUT IT WAS NOT THE REAL LOTION IN THE BOTTLE. I HAVE BEEN TANNING AT CABANA TANS SINCE THE SPRING OF 03 AND THE OWNER AND EMPLOYEES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY HELPFUL AND NICE. AS FAR AS THE SELECTION OF LOTION THAT THEY HAVE THERE IS A BIG SELECTION TO CHOOSE FROM IN EVERY PRICE RANGE. I ALWAYS RECOMEND CABANA TANS TO EVERY ONE BECAUSE IT IS A VERY CLEAN SALON AND VERY FRIENDLY!!!

best experience ever!!!!. my first experience with tanning in a salon was about a year ago. i decided to try out cabana tans and I LOVE IT! All the staff is very friendly and always greet you with a smile. The owner of the salon is very sweet and nice and she makes you feel welcomed and she answers any questions that you have.. no matter how crazy the question might be! The salon is always spotless and very well kept and organized. i dont know what more i can say about this salon except for it is the best in town!!

Best tanning Salon. I have been a tanner at Cabana Tans since 2001. I find it very offensive for the owner and staff of Cabana Tans to be subjected to the immature comments on this site. Over the years, I have purchased many products some of which have been as low as $15 and I believe that all of her products are very fair in competitive with other tanning salons. The owner and staff repsect their customers as should the customers should respect the rules of Cabana Tans and the state laws in which they abide by. It is very expensive to be self-employed in any industry, therefore if the former customers had any knowledge of the expense of the upkeep in equipment they would understand the importance of using proper products. In closing, I highly recommend Cabana Tans. My experience over the years has been informative, fun, amazingly clean, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Best Airbrush Tanning in Houston. I've been going here for the last 2 years and have never been disappointed. The staff is amazing and are always willing to help accommodate you in every way. They are super professional and everything is SUPER clean, which is always a plus in my book! I would never go anywhere else...why should I, I would only be disappointed because they could never measure up to Cabana Tans!

Editorial Review. Offering nine tanning beds, as well as airbrush tanning, this tanning salon makes sunbathing to obtain that golden glow obsolete.

Best tanningsalon in Houston!!!. I have been to several salons through the years and this is by far the best one I have been to. It says alot about a place when they remember your name and have a smile for you every time you walk in. The entire staff is so friendly, the shop is always spotless, the beds are all in great condition and I will never go anywhere else!!!!
