I get injections from Renee, and she is great! The whole staff is super friendly. Haven't had surgery yet, but I'll definitely be going to Dr. Mentz when I'm ready!

Have gone to Dr. Mentz twice - once in 2004 for liposuction. Great results - should have gotten more areas. Changed my life. In Dec. 2011, had breast reduction and new areas of lipo. He is an artist - and his staff - while pretty no-nonsense, are great. Especially his anesthesiologist! The after care was awesome. He threw in some services - which I finally used - love the Botox (thanks Renee) I can honestly say that I NEVER dreamed my G-H breasts would be such gorgeous D's. Truly the best looking breasts I've ever seen - and they're mine. Amazing.

Beautiful Results. I devoted over a year of my time and energy consulting with the known "best" doctors in the area. I had seven consults with other doctors before deciding on Dr. Mentz for rhinoplasty.

Dr. Mentz was patient with my "perfectionist" desires. Two surgeries later, I am very pleased with my results. I will definitely use the doctor in the future.

He has excellent bedside manner, in addition, he is triple board certified and his work is beautiful art. I will consider him a five-star plastic surgery expert!

Went in for injectables botox and juvederm. I never met the doctor but had juvederm and botox administered by a very good nurse. I had a good experience and may consider Doctor Mentz for a facelift in the future.

Rude staff...Horrible surgery results BEWARE!. One star is one star too many. I have been to this office for Dr.Mentz several times. Each time there is a 45 to 90 minute wait. Only to wait for the doctor another 20.

Dr. Mentz is friendly, but his work makes that void. I had major facial rejuvenation. My face was so ugly three, six and eight months post operation. Dr. Mentz is quick to take your money, but doesn't follow through nor apologize or make right with followup after.

The staff is rude, unprofessional and lazy from the moment you open the door to the office.

If you want good plastic surgery, I suggest you stay far away from this doctor's establishment.

I don't know where to start. I felt my wife was rushed after we waited three and a half hours after we were told to be there. He came in and just said hello for a few seconds before she went to surgery. The lazy, fake acting nurse then handed the I.V. bag to my wife to carry herself and walked ahead of my wife. I almost told them to forget it at that point. There was one blonde nurse who kept checking on us and the hispanic man who started her I.V. who seemed concerned. The post surgery care was very rushed also, I was working when my wife went in for that and it was the same rush job.

great experience. had a great experience with dr. mentz and his office. several of my friends had surgery with him and had a great result. he measured my face and took time to explain several options. my surgery was easy and the cooling face mask made it almost painless. very llittle bruising, less than my friends. they gave me home care, massages, facials and lots of love. many thanks,

Very Disappointed. I went to Dr. Mentz four years ago to have a facelift, eye lift and liposuction. I had consulted with three plastic surgeons and I thought Dr. Mentz seemed very competent and caring, plus he was written up in one of the Houston magazines as the best plastic surgeon in Houston. I had a facelift 17 years previously and loved it. My surgeon did a great job. I also had liposuction 11 years previously and loved the results also. One of the reasons I chose Dr. Mentz over my other doctor was that Dr. Mentz said he would do everything at the same time. My other doctor wanted to do it in two surgeries. What a mistake!!! The other reviewers are right, in that you sit in the waiting room forever and you rarely see Dr. Mentz - after surgery, it is the physician's assistant. That was not my main concern. The day of my surgery, it was very, very late by the time he showed up. The real problem I have is the results. First of all, I had a bulge under my chin that looked horrible, he did not lift my jowls and my chin line looked awful. He had liposuctioned 18 pounds but my pant size did not go down. When I went in three days after the surgery he said everything looked great. After a few weeks, he was telling me how well everything was healing and how great it looked. I told him I was not satisfied with bulge under my chin, my jowls and my liposuction, plus my eyes were blood red because I had dry eye. He said he didn't know what caused bulge under my chin and didn't know why he didn't do my jowls and he didn't liposuction my butt because sometimes it sags. He said he could go in and do additional work but it would be $1,000 for the operating room and $1,500 to do the additional liposuction. This, after being out $30,000. He did do additional surgery and I still had the bulge under my chin. After he did the additional liposuction, I went from a size 12 to a size 6. Why didn't he do that the first time??? I told him I still was not happy and he went in a third time. I still am not happy with anything I have had done. It was a nightmare!!! Also, he took too much skin out from my lower lids, that I have suffered from dry eye ever since. My opthamologist said he needed correct my eyes, which he did do some work on them. It's been over four years and my eyes still get very dry because they don't close enough. I personally think he was running so late by the time he got to me and was in a hurry to finish and get home. From my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Mentz to anyone.

Experience pays off.. I had surgery about 3 months ago for puffy eyelids and kind of a saggy neck. Dr. Mentz and Lupe helped me sort out exactly what my issues were with an imager and measurements. My face, neck and eyes are recovered now after surgery. I had some eye dryness for about a month, as he warned me before surgery and he gave me special instructions and drops until it all went away. After all that I am happier with my face than I have ever been. Now I look younger and feel fresher. I did not have the easiest recovery since my eyes are dry, but Dr. Mentz knew how to guide me thru it. I pays to have experience and his work is fab.

Kind and Caring. I had my facelift about a year ago and Dr. Mentz has been a blessing all the way through. He coached me through the consultation, measured every millimeter of my face. the staff was great and took great care of me and when it was done, I felt renewed. All of my friends have had their facelift done now with him and all of them thank me. Thank you Dr. Mentz!!
