What a waste of a nice day !!!
by johnfv84
I visited Planet Beach for the first time after buying a Package from a solicitor from www.thesmartcircle It was a deal worth $525.00... sounds good , so I purchase 2 of them for $60.00 each. I called to make an appointment and went there the next day to start using the certificate. I was then told what I would be needing, and I said the mini massage, Facial, and the skin Hydration / Rejuvenation Treatment. The lady at the counter said that it would cost an additional $28.00 for 4 different types of lotions to start the process, and I said ok since I was already here, I was not going back home with nothing done. (The lotion packs were the size of a ketchup packages that you would get at McDoInald's ). WOW... what a way to make money !!! The massage was one of those water beds that you see at the Malls... it felt alright but nothing like a real massage, the Skin Hydration was just a steam vessel that steams your body and nothing more. When I was ready for the facial, they gave me the ketcup... I mean the lotion packages and was instucted me to wash my face, then apply the second lotion to my face and stick it under the " facial machine " then after it's done to apply the last lotion on. The light was as bright as any light could be and I was not even offered any eye protection. After the facial, there was a step by step procedure on the steps of the facial... one step said to make sure you put on the eye protection on and one of the others said that the Planet Beach reps will show you ways of taking steps to taking care of your face. None of this even happen. I wish they could of explain some of the treatments and how it works for me rather than just telling me to get in the room and push the blue button. Customer service is not existing here, I will not give the other certificate away as plan... maybe to one of my enemy's !! I don't think I want to waste any more time or money at this place anymore. I can see why the place was empty, I was there only customer.
- Pros: clean place
- Cons: better places with one on one customer service in Houston
Good facility, but BEWARE their Sign-Up Deals
by blondie362436
This is a wonderful facility, but they seldom honor the promises made by the staff who coax you into signing a contract. I signed a contract for a long-term expensive plan because the promises and special deals I was offered were just too good to turn down. LOL, then after the papers were signed the deal changed!!! For instance I was promised a huge discount on a very expensive lotion that had to be special-ordered. Such a good deal, in fact, that I was contacted the next week by management and told there was NO WAY they could honor that price. They renogiated a MUCH, MUCH higher price.
Also, I was told the amount charged to my credit card when I signed up would cover the remainder of the month, and would pre-pay October. My monthly charges would start in November. On October 1, my bank account was debited the full monthly amount. They returned some, but not all, of the over-charge.
- Pros: Beautiful Facility
- Cons: Don't honor their committments
