Editorial Review for Topwater Grill – by Joshua Hinsdale

In Short
Top Water Grill is the antidote to the area's many corporate-owned seafood restaurants that seem to all have similar menus and elevated prices. After a circuitous journey through the San Leon coastal plains, the road ends and the good times begin. The unassuming restaurant is home to some of the best-tasting seafood anywhere on the Gulf Coast. The shrimp are plump, the fish is fresh and even the burgers are delicious. The fish tacos are legendary.

Insider Tips

Where to Sit

For the full Top Water experience, choose a table on the covered porch overlooking the boat docks. The floor is concrete and the tables are plastic, but the view is inspiring and the breeze divine.

It was my 1st time in topwatergrill the food was okay not to out of the price rage . are waiter Mark was excellent I have never seen anyone as perfect. When you walk in you see a host stand I didnt understand why the host dont sport topwater with the shrit . they all walk a little to fast i didnt want to run to my table ,only if they would smile a little more not look like they have it so bad. Amy i think her name was sounded like she needed to let the staff do there job not yell at them tell the night is over .overal they need some help and happy faces.
