Music Opportunities Galore!. I'm a local singer/songwriter who fell upon All About Music & Arts by accident. I was looking for a local recording studio that was inexpensive, but experienced at composing others' music. I sing and write lyrics, but don't know anything about composing. I found Backstage Music in the phone book, and went by to talk to the owner, JR Parades. I explained what I wanted to do and what it was that I needed him to do. When he said he could do it, I made an appointment to begin work on my first country demo.

In our session, I sang the melody, and JR picked the chords out with his acoustic guitar. In less than an hour JR had what he needed for the instrumental version. Because of his recording schedule, it took a few weeks for him to complete the instrumental version, but I was quite impressed what he came up with! JR took my nothing, made it into a music something, and we set a date to lay down the vocals.

However, after an hour or so in the studio I was not happy with MY vocals. As we were discussing what it was that bothered me, the owner of All About Music & Arts, and JR's mother, Linda Paredes stopped into the studio and told me how much she really loved my song and my voice. We brought her into the conversation and she requested that I take a few voice lessons from one of her teachers to see if it would help. I began my voicelessons in August of 2008 and I'm still taking them. On December 13th, I will be going to back into the studio with JR to complete the vocals to my demo.

All About Music & Arts not only has VERY TALENTED voice teachers, but it also has an inexpesive, yet PROFESSIONAL recording studio, owned and operated by an incredibly talented musician, JR Parades. If you're looking to turn your dreams into realities, ou have to give this business a try before you waste your money any where else! You don't want to pay more and have to settle for less. I highly recommend that you give All About Music & Arts & Backstage Music a call!
