Finally. I have finally found a place to have drinks and conversation without someone trying to pick me up!!! Monday nights are rather slow, but the music was fantastic...if you know who the rat packers are you will love it here. Prices were a little high, but well worth it. They have and enforce a dress code, but was not a problem for myself or my group. You have to expect to get dressed to go to a nice place. This is not a college bar by any means. Will be frequenting this place every chance I get!

Hello?!?. A group of friends went to Belvedere last Saturday. The mood was great and our cocktail waitress kept the drinks coming UNTIL we asked for our check. She then "checked out" for at least 20 minutes and left us thirsty, and unable to pay for our drinks. I can only suppose that the customers who were staying were more important. My advice? Order from the bar to avoid this headache, or go somewhere else. We did.

short mid-eastern bouncer. I was excited about the owner's of Tonic and the Social's new club uptown. Boy was I in for a surprise - the bouncer tells me my Gucci sandals aren't good, but I had some Prada shoes in my trunk so I change into those, and then 15 minutes later he tells me my group and I can't get in because we're wearing jeans. If he could notice my sandals then why the hell did it take him 15 minutes to notice my jeans? Especially when plenty of worse-dressed guys had gotten in before us (unless stonewash Wranglers are the fad now). I would think there are more professional ways to not let people into a club instead of spending 15 minutes thinking of excuses. Unless the Belvedere is a scene for people who shop at Marshall's, I really have no clue what this place is all about.

Best Swanky Scene. I have been to many of the exclusive clubs in NY and Miami, and Belvedere is one the most impeccable clubs I have seen. They must have spent a fortune on the decor. Great service, atmosphere, crowd, and location.
