A Welcome Change of Pace.
Is it just me or is Washington Av getting to be more trouble than its worth? My buddies and I decided to do something different on Friday night and we came to Belvedere in Uptown Park. The parking lots are well lighted with plenty of spaces which is a nice change.
The crowd was really nice and a lot classier than what I've seen lately on Washington. The bartender was friendly and it was just a great night out with no hassle and no drama.

Very Impressed.
I went in there for happy hour last Thursday and I have to say I was pretty impressed. I hadn't been inside of Belvedere for 4 or 5 years, but I used to go all the time when it first opened almost 7 years ago. The place looks amazing especially if you think about how long its been around.
They have some great made from scratch cocktails and they squeeze the fruit juice fresh at the bar. The hostess/waitress, Tee, met us at the entrance and took great care of us. I will definitely go back.

Friday Night was Awesome!. Mike Snow is DJing there on Fridays now. Great mix of music and the crowd was really getting into it. My girlfriend really like Belvedere's new look and the service was great.

Newly renovated and getting better clientele.
Belvedere is still here for a reason: quality service and quality product.
While other bars are falling like flies (ahem Washington Corridor), Belv continues to stay ahead of the curve.

Don't purchase a bottle. Well known fact that they fill the Gray Goose bottles with Taca vodka.

Stay away from this awful place.
Disgusting is an understatement when it comes to describing Belvedere. Having been to Belvedere several times, their lack of respectful service was truly disappointing. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for a place with a diverse atmosphere and great customer service, there are plenty of better options in uptown.
Here's a run down of what I encountered this last weekend:
Front Door: The owners are completely unethical and shady. There was a cover charge of $5 for guys, while others were charged $10, and most paid $20. I guess the girl at the door changed the cover charge depending on who she felt she could take advantage of. Here's some advice, Belvedere: If you're going to try and run a scam, at least be consistent. While overcharging patrons, the girl at the door also failed to mention that the club was hosting a private party. After realizing this, we requested a refund within 5 minutes of walking in the door. The owners claimed to have a "no refund policy", which was completely ridiculous considering they weren't even playing music in English!
Bar: Be aware of the big-eyed female bartender who thinks highly of herself. She is unbearably rude and deserves to be working behind a bar at a low class club. She needs to remember that she works on tips and being disrespectful will get you no where.
Security: They are just as shady as the owners. I guess the security is there to back up the owners when they know they are in the wrong. If you're looking to feel safe and protected, don't depend on the worthless hired security to do the job.
Save your money and go elsewhere for a fun night on the town. Don't waste your time here.

All i gotta say is: I <3 Belvedere.. It's my favorite place to go on Thursday Night...

facious stinkhole. This place is lame... full of facious jerks and bitches. Hey if you like that kind of place then this is the shithole for you. if your going to wear tennis shoes be sure to wear "chucks" otherwise take your business elsewhere. Places like this does not deserves any business.

Love the dere.
I have been to Belvedere many times and I have a great time everytime. From the music to the service to the decor, this place is great. Much better crowd than wannabe places. People come here to kick back, talk business, party, go crazy and just enjoy.
I have had bottle service here a few times and it has been excellent.
