“There's a grilled chicken dish that's just unbelievable; the largest chicken breast you'll ever see is served with excellent dirty rice and a great macshou (they call it spicy corn or something like that) that beats anything anywhere else in this city for”

THE very best cajun food, extermely affordable.
I go all the time.
It's self service, order at a counter and your food is brought out immediately.
Great place for a quick lunch or dinner that is a piece of heaven.
Stop by for good food. This little know place in the Greenspoint area has some of the best food. Sure the decor is a little a busted. But overall it is a very clean, well kept place. The food speaks for its self. No matter what you order Cajun Town never dissappoints you. The price is very family friendly .
Great food. This is my favorite spot in town to get cajun food. Their crawfish etoufee is on point along with their cornbread. I have never eaten something here that wasn't amazing. Meal portions are large. Price is well worth it. The interior is BUSTED. Also LONG lines at lunch. Here's how I avoid all that; call ahead then you just walk up to the counter past everyone foolish enough to wait in the non pick up line and can take you food elsewhere. I usually still eat in I'm not so picky, but make sure you don't sit under the ac vents! Try it once I guarantee you'll go back.
This is the closest thing to Lafayette in Houston.. This food is served in healthy portions, and is always spiced just like I'm used to getting when I'm in So LA. The prices are better than reasonable, they're downright cheap for what you get. There's a grilled chicken dish that's just unbelievable; the largest chicken breast you'll ever see is served with excellent dirty rice and a great macshou (they call it spicy corn or something like that) that beats anything anywhere else in this city for authenticity. When you first try the pecan pie, you say "what is that strange taste" ... then, I think, I get it. I believe you're getting some "sweet potato pecan pie" just like Mama Dauterive used to make in New Iberia. WOW! Good!!
Great Cajun Cooking!. I usually order the grilled snapper with crawfish and shrimp butter sauce and dirty rice. It is excellent and filling for under $10. I also order the fried fish and shrimp platter occassionally with the seasoned fries and it is excellent as well. It is hard to choose from the menu, because everything is so good!
Editorial Review. Casual eatery offers Cajun specialties such as blackened catfish, fried shrimp and oysters, crawfish etouffee and even seasoned grilled chicken sandwiches.
Best Cajun this side of the Sabine River. We were blown away by the quality and tast of our meals. Don't miss the Titanic! Get it as an appitizer for two!
