Great prix-fixe lunch, patio, and patisserie!. For the longest time, when I thought of lunch on the patio, I would think Andre's. First because I love french food, second because i love the desserts there, and third because the patio is just lovely if you can snag a seat. Located in Uptown park with a wide seating area in front, Andre's prix fixe lunch (3 courses less than $15) is a favorite of mine (boeuf bourgignon is a regular main course) but you can also do the crab cake salad or a great sandwich on croissant bread. The desserts are the highlight for me, one of the true patisseries in town, and anything mousse (peach mousse, chocolate mousse, raspberrry mousse) is light airy scrumptious delectable heaven. Inside, the small eatery is rustic, with wooden booths and a cozy space.You can also get patisserie of your choice to go or get full size cakes for special occasions. The cakes are to-die for, and everytime I give one away, I am the recipient of not only heartfelt thanks but am bombarded with inquiries of where to buy the wonderful dessert creation.
