Great Kennel!. I am extremely picky about where I leave my dog when I travel and this kennel was a great experience! They were so nice, and patient with me when I called to check on my dog daily. Highly recommended! My dog did great there and their rates are very affordable.

great service!. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog here. The owners are a retired sheriff's deputy and his wife who live right down the street and have dogs of their own. They are true dog lovers and every time I have been there I have seen dogs playing outside. My dog really hates to be caged, but she loves going to Midtown Dog Kennel, so I guess she has a pretty good time there playing with other dogs, etc. I am so happy that I found this place, and I have not taken my dog anywhere else since then. Just make your reservations early if you need to kennel your dog during a holiday because the place will fill up!

My dogs love it. This kennel looks sketchy because it's in a rough area of town. But it's very secure, with a high fence around the whole perimeter. This kennel is cheaper than any other kennels I know. My dogs are always happy and excited when I drop them off there. If you are looking for a fancy kennel where your dogs will be read bedtime stories and can watch videos, this is NOT it. But if you are looking for a clean, safe environment where your dogs can stay at an affordable rate while you are out of town, then Midtown Dog Kennel is the place to go.

Avoid this kennel.. The people were nice on the phone, though all the comments that are posted here are NOT a reflection of actual conditions! I believe they were written all by the same person. The "exercise area" is a tiny fenced in area with grass that barely grows. The "kennels" inside were actually just cages and all the dogs were barking incessantly the smell was horrible and the overall conditions of this place was deplorable. Check out the office even! They do not even invite you into the space! They meet you outside and pretend to be walking a dog while you show up. I cannot believe that anyone would ever leave their beloved pet here. Very scary!

Best Kennel in town!. I've used Midtown Dog Kennel on many occassions, from simple weekend trips to a full week out of town. My dog still goes into the kennel with excitement everytime I bring her there.

In fact, on one occassion I stopped by without my dog to pick up a neighbors dog and the owner asked how my dog was doing and if she had left a toy there on her last visit that was months previous.

Affordable, caring dog kennel inside the loop. I have one dog that is very scared of strangers, so I was always nervous when I had to leave her when I went out of town. The owners of Midtown Kennel took the time to get themselves introduced to her by getting down to her level and letting her sniff their hands while in their dog yard. In fact, my dog was letting them pet her and sitting for them before I left her. This only took a few minutes, but it made me feel very comfortable that they didn't just take her leash and lead her directly back to a kennel.

The kennel has two very large dog yards where the dogs can play and get some exercise. I feel the owners geniunely love dogs and want their stay to be as pleasant as possible. Since, I have started bringing my dogs here, I have not taken them anywhere else. In fact, I moved all the way out to Pearland and still kennel my dogs here. They are that sweet and caring that I will drive the extra 15-20 miles to get there.

The only place I will leave my dog!. I have always been paranoid about leaving my dog in kennels when I go out of town- until I found Midtown Kennel. He also goes there for daycare. The couple that owns the kennel love dogs and you really feel like they personally care for your dog (as opposed to some places I looked at where it was just a money making operation). My dog is actually happy to go to this place, and always comes back to me clean and happy. Even better, this place is one of the most affordable kennels in town! The area is not great but don't let that dissuade you from this wonderful place!!!

Nice, clean kennel. They took excellent care of my dogs. The kennel was very clean and they have individual outside play time for the dogs in a nice, fenced yard. It nice to have a caring and affordable kennel inside the loop.

Great place to take care of the pups. I use these guys almost exclusively when I leave town. They are very nice folks and seem to really enjoy spending time with all of the dogs.

Nice Facility. We have boarded our two dogs here on several occasions now and could not be more happy with the service and value. The people who run this place really seem to love dogs and know how to treat an animal. There is a great exercise area for the doggies too! Our dogs love it!
