Wish I knew about this place earlier. I've driven past Eclipse a million times and never went, since I was "under contract" to Darque Tan. Once I finally got out of that, I checked this place out. They're great. I'm fair skinned and freckled and don't tan well in beds, but Eclipse offers airbrush tanning. I gave it a try, and it was great! It's the darkest I've ever been, and much safer, too. I've done it a few times already and still use their beds, but not nearly as often, just enough to keep some "real" color. It lasts me about a week, so I just try to go every week or so for the airbrush and whenever I can for the beds. Really nice employees. Bang-up job!

Never will go back for a spray tan!. I came here for a bridal tan, it was awful, and orange, I was airbrushed by the manager, it defintally wasn't my skin type, I was sprayed at Spa Nordstrom and my skin took it so well. Anyway I will never ever go back to this place, and the atmosphere was soooo negative! I STRONGLY SUGGEST ELSEWHERE!

Service with a smile. I love Eclipse Tanning! They have the nicest girls working there, the place is always spotless, and they have both great beds and an awesome airbrush tan. I do the beds normally, but if I need a little something extra, I'll do the airbrush tan.

I've been going here for about 6 months. It's a great location on the way from work to home and I'm just really impressed with their customer service.

I recommend it to all my friends!

Great tan, Nice staff. I tried Eclipse on the recommendation of a friend. I went onto their website and bought a three tan airbrush package for just $100. Didn't think that price was too bad. I have only been for one session so far and it was a great experience. They got me right in on time, the girl who did it was so nice I hardly noticed I was standing there with no clothes on the whole time, and the result was great! Can't wait for my next appointment :)

I really like this tanning salon. I started going to Eclipse Tanning about a month ago, and I really like it. I currently do the UV Beds, but plan on doing airbrush as well. The staff is awesome! Very clean place as well. Plus I never have a problem getting in. I highly reccomend it!

Sarah is the BEST Airbrush person at this tanning salon!. I went to Eclipse for the first time to get an Airbrush Tan. I have never done anything like this before. I just want to tell all the readers ASK FOR SARAH, she made me feel so comfortable and was professional. The prices were reasonable and I did not feel any pressure to buy a package. However, after the explanation by Sarah of how my package will NEVER expire I bought the 3 Airbrush Tan package. I just want to express how much I love my tan and how much I appreicate what this young lady does and how tasteful she was regarding the whole process. Thank you so much Sarah and I will see you soon!

Great Service, Amazing Tan. I found Eclipse after moving from Dallas where I had a great airbrush person. I was so happy to find Eclipse, they do a GREAT job! Their airbrush tan turns out perfect every time and the price is better than what I was expecting. It's not cheap, but I've seen it much more expensive, and I feel I get my money's worth.

I only wish they were a little closer so I could go more frequently.

Make sure you book your appointment in advance if you want to go in the evenings.

Don't Know Whats Up Her Booty. I have been a client of Eclipse since it first started. I know "the Manager" and she tans me once a week for the last few years, I have NEVER had a problem at Eclipse or with the staff, everyone is always fiendly. I love the fact that the ladies there always know my name and are ready to serve my needs the minute I enter the store. I am writing in support of the staff at Eclipse and am a bit disturbed at what this customer had to complain about and then read the owners comment. Just want to say that this Tanning salon is Houstons BEST and there is a reason that they are one of the only places that Airbrush, because it is the best. I always feel comfortable and their unlimited plan is what it seems I have never had any trouble booking an appointment or using my unlimited to tan in bed (it is included). However there have been times I could not get in, I can use the tanning booth, but prefer the Airbrush. So for that book in advance! Other than that, once again they staff and the salon are great!

Fabulous Sunless Tanning and Great Customer Service. I have been going to Eclipse for the past two years and I must say this is the best tanning salon in Houston. I was a little dubious about the "sunless tanning" look before I tried this place, but I am now a convert. I started out using the mist-on (car-wash booth) machine and liked the end result and the ease of the process, but one day the manager talked me into trying the airbrush tan. She was really nice and the whole experience was positive. I am now hooked! I have signed up the unlimited airbrush service and have on a few occasions used the UV beds which are included for free with my package. As I write this, my tan is 10 days old and my arms still look tan! I would recommend Eclipse to anyone wanting to try sunless tanning.

Highly disappointing. I found my experience with this salon very disappointing!

An unlimited airbrush tanning package is not unlimited! You can only tan once a week. This is directly from the manager and the owner! I have been tanning at this salon for over 6 months and my experience has progressively gotten worse.

My hours of tanning became restricted because the manager felt I was being unfair since I had not tipped her in relation to others. Another employee told me this having been instructed by her that I could no longer book morning hours. Be prepared --- you obviously better tip everyone, in addition to paying you monthly tanning fee!!!!!

I had to bring this up to the manager. This began just one of the employee issues that surfaced that interfered with me simply wanting to get a tan.

All I can say is employee relations are a diaster at this facility and it has to do with management.

Unlimited airbrush tanning is not unlimited. You can only tan once a week. Don't expect to make an appointment ahead of one a week. Management is not supportive of the customer. Expect to tip on top of your tanning fee, or your service will suffer. The owner supports his manager over the customer. The manager lacks people skills and is unprofessional in conduct directly to and in front of customers.

Sadly, this customer displayed irrational behavior and was a threat to our employees and customers. She showed up on days when she had no appointment and demanded to be seen immediately. She did not show up for appointments that she did make. Both types of events would happen at least twice a week.

Eventually, it was found to be in the best interest of our staff and our valued customers that we sever ties with this particular customer.

We were very sad to have to do this and have never refused service to anyone before, but as she became more and more threatening and abusive, I (the owner) felt it best for all involved to terminate her contract at the end of her prepaid period.

We have not ever limited the amount of times a customer on an unlimited account may come in. However, we do work by appointment - which means a known time and date. Unfortunately, that was beyond the grasp of this individual.
