“This place is always deserted, the girls working there are not friendly, and the eyebrow wax was absolutley awful!”
Wonderful!. I took my 4 year old daughter for her first mani/pedi. I also got a pedicure for myself. The girls were very friendly and sweet. They paid extra attention to my daughter and made her feel very special. They even painted little flowers on her nails free of charge. (Most salons charge for this.) The salon was clean and they had a nice assortment of colors. I was VERY pleased with my pedicure and we will definitely go back and I highly recommend the salon. I also appreciate the special attention to my 4 year old. She left with a huge smile on her face and had a wonderful experience with her first salon treatment.
I did not have an appointment and was assisted as a walkin. I wanted a pedicure. The lady gave me cold water for the spa, so i had to tell her to give me hot water. I'm not sure if the tools were used or not. She rushed the procedure. She gave attitude when i asked her to recut my nails. Overall the experience was horrible.
P.S. I was never given a reciept and when i did not give a tip, she said something in another language to the other worker who then gave me a dirty look.
HEALTH INSPECTOR NEEDED!!!!!!
Unhygenic and unsafe.
On Sunday April 6, my 17 year old daughter and I went to West U Nails for manicures and pedicures where, what should have been a relaxing, enjoyable treat, turned into a bloody mess. My daughter was cut so badly during her manicure that she soaked 3 band-aids. I was having a pedicure across the room so I wasn't aware of how inept the staff was at addressing the situation. Apparently, they kept pouring a solution of blue antiseptic on the wound and saying that it would stop the bleeding. I heard my daughter ask for a cotton ball to press on the wound. Then, although the bleeding had not stopped, they proceeded to paint her nail, dipping the bloody nail polish brush back into the nail polish. Of course the polish didn't adhere to the bloody wet nail, so my daughter ended up with 9 painted nails and black scabbed cuticle. When I complained to the manager about my daughter's injury as we were leaving, her response was to not believe us and to rip the black, soaked band-aid off my daughter's finger and to start pressing on and aggravating the wound. She even refused to reimburse us for the $10 manicure (i had already paid for it). She offered to take 50% off the price.
The potential for transmitting disease a this establishment is extremely high and I am very concerned about my daughter's health. She is at risk for hepatitis and other diseases. I plan to contact the proper health inspectors because this type of practice is too dangerous to ignore.

Best Nails Ever!!. I've been going to West U Nails for years (ever since they first opened) and am more than happy with the people that work there, as well as the services that they provide. They are very accomodating and do excellent work. I've tried other places, and am usually disappointed, and always return to this one. Not the cheapest, but the best!
Do Not Do Your Waxing Here!. I don't know how this place is in business. This place is always deserted, the girls working there are not friendly, and the eyebrow wax was absolutley awful! She barely removed any hair; and what she did remove was patchy! I cannot believe I paid money for the service. I regret ever going there and hope you don't either.
