Contractor beware!. Ordered eight yards of concrete to be delivered at noon on Saturday. They called several hours before they were to deliver and said it would be $10.00 more a yard then was quoted. We called around 11:00 and asked if they could push the truck back 30 minutes and they said they were running a little behind and it would be 1:00. They called around 1:00 said it would be closer to 3:00. At 3:30 I called and the truck hadn't left and still needed to be loaded. The truck finally showed up after 5:00 and the concrete was like water. We had five guys standing around for 4 1/2 hours waiting on the truck and they poured the concrete in the dark. When I called to talk to the owner on Monday he said we could have rejected the concrete and he would not do anything about the delay or the mix of the concrete. I will never use this company again as they cost us time and money.

Queen Ready Mix. I nearly feel bad for them the company but he is always saleing bad concrete its always breaking on the job i have to rip it out and get someone with experience like southern star concrete thats who you need to go with .

Best concrte in the area.
I have been in the concrete business since 1970 and would like to state my opinion of the service and quality of the products of The Queen ready mix concrete. The quality of the material is very satisfactory . I have never had a Hot load of material (meaning concrete in the drum too long, or new concrete dumped over concrete already in the drum) sent to my job site. They have always been on time when they say they will be, and have always called in if they were having a delay in the delivery. I would recommend them for any concrete job.
I give them 4 stars because no one gets five stars simply there is nothing to compare the 5th star to. on a scale of 1-10. I would give them a 9.
