A TRUE HELL HOLE. THIS IS THE BIGGEST HELL HOLE I'VE EVER LIVED IN.I LIVED THERE IN 2006 FOR 2 MONTHS,I BROKE MY LEASE CAUSE I WAS NOT GOING TO LIVE IN FEAR.YOU COULD WALK OUTSIDE AT NIGHT IF YOU WANTED TO BE BOTHERED,GUN SHOTS,MY TRUCK WAS BROKEN INTO AND I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED,IT COST ME $1200 DOLLARS TO FIX IT AND THE OFFICE TOLD ME TO FILE A POLICE REPORT AND THEN THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING,IN THE 2 MONTHS I LIVED THERE,THERE WERE 120 CARS BROKEN INTO OR STOLEN,42 APTS BROKEN INTO,AND GOD ONLY KNOWS HOW MANY DOPE DEALS I WATCHED HAPPEN.I WOULD NOT LET MY DOG STAY THERE,STAY AWAY FROM THIS HELL HOLE. MY A/C NEVER WORKED WAS ALWAYS FROZEN,AND MAINTANCE IS A BIGGER JOKE.

Best View I've Ever Had. I've never seen such well kept courtyards with beautiful plants and flowers it's so nice to not see and hear the freeway, but its only 5-10 minutes to a few of them-I just moved from Colorado a few months ago and the office helped me from the phone all the way here to houston. I had a few things needed fixin when I moved in and the next day the repair guys from the office were already knoking on my door.People in texas are so NICE-I love my village at meyerlnd apt-my neigbors are so quiet I hardly ever see them and only hear them when we run into each other in the courtyard.

Avoid this place, it's Risky. I have lived in the Villages at Meyerland for several years, even before it fell into the dismal shape it is in now. What you can expect now is an escalating increase of break-ins, narcotics, car burglaries, and an assortment of varies other crimes. Even more disheartening is the lack of management concern for its tenant?s safety in the wake of these criminal activities. I, for instance, was stunned and petrified when I looked through the peephole of my door and clearly saw an unknown Hispanic looking male sitting in my car as he searched it, looking for anything of value. I and several caring young female neighbors plus a helpful male neighbor and his dog pursued the man as he tried to escape through the apartment complex and out of sight. Thankfully, the police caught him.

Previously, I complained to management about not informing tenants through postings or flyers about the criminal activities so rampant in this complex. The manager and support staff always say they know about no such reports of car break-ins and doors being kicked in. Several of my neighbors reported that their doors had been kicked in. The management treated my claim that my car was violated as being unimportant since the perpetrator said he mistook my car for someone else?s. How low can anyone make another human being feel? Karen, the manager, didn?t talk to me at all. She could hear from her office how upset I was but she just ignored me. I was given another contact number but my call was never returned. . I feel like management is the dangerous ones. They care nothing about tenant security, only receiving rent payments. Whatever happened to cameras, flyers, posters, security? I have always been a good tenant. I want to live and feel safe. I have to say that I am here living in fear.

dont move here. I have lived in villages at meyerland for a year and a half this was my and my old roommates first apt so we were excited that it was all bills paid and thought it would be a great place to live and save money..WRONG my car was broken into twice and the office did nothing about it we had a 2 bedroom and they only gave us 1 parking space who ever got home fist got it and the other had to park on the main street (braesmont)which was no where near out apt we wouldnt even see the door and we are both girls and hated walking alone so far. It was good that its all bills paid but at least when you pay you own bills you can control them in these apts anytime you want to switch from air to heat you have to call the office and sometimes it takes up to 3 days before they come change it for you..i wouldnt reccommend these apts to anyone i cant wait till my lease is over so i can move

Bad maintenance. This isn't the worse place I've lived but it isn't great. I have problems with the water pressure and I think its from mineral deposits which managment told me to fix myself. Also the air conditioning needs to be fixed and I informed them about it on the first and it is now the 5th and no one has come to fix the problem. I also called today and nothing has happened but hopefully by tommorow. I would leave but I cant afford it right now. As soon as the lease is up I'm going to move. The rent gets raised every year too. It was seven hundred a month for a two bedroom and now I pay seventy dollars a month more. But electricity is included. In the winter you have to pick between heat or air conditioning which is no good because the weather changes all the time. If you try to hook up a small heater it always breaks a fuse which you don't have access to so you have to call the maintenance to come turn the electric back on. And it seems like since I moved in my car was broken into and my cd player was stolen out of my car and I've heard of three other people in my apartments that have had experiences like this also.

DO NOT TRY THIS COMPLEX!!!!!!YOU'LL BE SORRY. THIS IS THE MOST AWFUL PLACE I'VE EVER LIVED. IF I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT MY CREDIT I'D LEAVE NOW!!! IT'S VERY EXSPENSIVE FOR THE OUT OF DATE FURNISHINGS IN THE APARTMENT. THE PARKING SU**S, THE AIR SU**S, THE WATER PRESSURE SU**S, I'VE HAD MY CAR BROKEN INTO TWICE AND THEY COULD CARE LESS. THE WATER IN MY KITCHEN IS ALMOST TO A DRIP. IT TAKES AN HOUR FOR THE SINK TO GET HALF FULL SO I CAN WASH DISHES. I REPORTED THIS 4 WEEKS AGO AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. I WOULDN'T RECCOMMEND THIS PEICE OF SH** TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!!!
