KRISTY IS AWESOME! I am very uptight about my hair and am still new to Houston. I was looking for a Hair stylist- and Kristy is it. The first person I went to was Nazila from the ULTA Salon at Town and Country, and she completely destroyed my hair color with a botched 'blonde highlight' job. It was horrible- and then Kristy came to the recue! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and then painstakingly went through each strand of hair Nazila from Ulta had destroyed. I have very thick hair so I was SUPER impressed by her skill level, patience and the resulting product. The salon itself is also very nice- choose this place- and more importantly- choose Kristy!

Svetlana cuts my hair at Josephine's salon, and it is seriously the best haircut I have ever had! I would recommend her to anyone. The salon is also quite nice. Very nice staff, reasonably priced, it's great!

For almost six years now Marni has been cutting my hair. She always has a beautiful smile and a positive outlook on the day.My friends and family always compliment me on how great my hair looks after each visit.

I would not have been a customer for this long if I was not one million per cent satisfied.

Once upon a time.... There was this hair stylist. She was attentive and sweet and funny and talented...all the things you look for in a caregiver! One day this man walked in kinda looking like a frog (with the hope that with a little magic he could be transformed into a prince one day). This caregiving hair stylist worked, combed and cut, pulling out all the stops for this frog. In the end, however, he was still a frog...a much improved frog, but still a frog! Over the years (YEARS!) the frog has grown quite fond of this stylist because she not only cuts his hair nicely (NICELY!) but also is genuinely interested in how he is getting along. He considers her a friend, she considers him a prince (and makes him feel like a king!).

The moral of the story: Marni is the ultimate!

Josephine's and especially Marni totally ROCK. I have been a client here for many years and Marni is my favorite! She takes such good care of me and always makes me feel special. I think my hair is awesome & my son loves her too! He's 23 & not so easy to please. We love you, Marni!

Good to Go!!. I don't read nor write reviews on a regular basis, but I felt compelled to do so. Have gone to Josephine's for a little over 4-years and was little gun shy at first. Not really used to all of the attention, at Josephine's it never stops from walking in to leaving!! My Girlfriend introduced me to Marni, and I haven't stopped going. She has helped re-style my hair to actually move into our current decade, ridding myself of the regular Conway Twitty hair style I was set to work with into my wheelchair days. HAHA..

Thrilled Type A, OCD, HAIR MATTERS, perfecitonist!. The best part of any month is heading to Joesphine's Day Spa and Salon! I am grateful my gray hairs are emerging with strong will so I have an excuse to see Marni for a color and cut, Loan or Hong for an amazing pedicure!

Had my hair colored and some fun bangs and layers cut in last night-Thank you Marni-the color is perfect and the cut is awesome! Compliments galore at the office today! You are a day-maker for sure! What would my hair do without you!?!

The services available at Josephine's are awesome-one stop shopping for complete relaxation! I love every moment-from being greeted, to having the absolute BEST in a stylist-Marni, Bonnie-somehow makes the shampoo experience AMAZING, pedicures, manicures, waxing and massages-I have LOVED every service I have tried so far.

It took me years to find the right stylist to trust my hair to-Marni is the BEST-I book my appointments a year in advance to make sure I never have to have a substitute!

NEVER AGAIN!!. Because you have to give a star, here is my one star. My family has been going to Josephine's for 6 years now. We have seen our favorite hair stylist come and go from there. So I thought I would try someone new since my favorites were gone. BAD MISTAKE! I saw Marnie, after asking for someone that was good with short hair. The receptionist that answered told me that everyone there is good with hair. HA. I went in and explained what I wanted. I said short in the back, dramatic angle, and a touch up on the front. Marnie repeated everything I said to "make sure we were on the same page." I specifically said I liked the length in the front, but new it needed a little fix. I now have hair ABOVE my chin, an inch was taken off!, a no dramatic angle!!!! I then paid and left thinking i could just live with the mess up. After coming home and crying for a few hours, my mom finally called because she was so upset by how the hair looked. We spoke to the manager Kasey that said that they would fix it at no charge (there is no more hair left to fix sadly) and that they would refund my money. She told me to come in the following day so see her to get my refund and to get a second opinion from another stylist. I then showed up, to find out Kasey was not there. They refunded me my money but NEVER had another stylist take a look at my hair for another opinion. Showing me that they don't really value their customers wants and needs. The manger also said that she was a glass half full kind of girl and liked to feel she had a fresh hair cut instead of a bad one! I felt that by her telling me this she really thought I was making a big deal over something I shouldn't. Hair will grow, I know, but I shouldn't even be having this issue if Marnie would have just listened! I will never go back to this place that I once loved, nor will I ever recommend them anymore. Marnie was also afraid of getting a bad review, so here it is, her bad review she was afraid of.

Houston's best hair salon!. Ashley W at Josephine's Day Spa & Salon is awesome! She really listens to what you want, and incorporates her own creative vision, to execute the perfect haircut! The location is perfect as it's convenient for both people out west and east, located right in the middle, off 1-10. I get there off Dairy Ashford, then turn off Eldridge. The salon has a very nice, relaxed atmosphere and very well priced!

The products are wonderful, and all smell great! Ashley suggested a product called Phomollient, which is a styling foam made with.......ready......marshmellow root and honey! It's the perfect combo to use on wet or dry hair to get the perfect style and hold. Amazingly it's not too sticky either!
