Far North barbecue restaurant for signature sauce, live music and real pit-cooked meats.. In Short
A Texas-style atmosphere sets the stage for pit-smoked barbecue, ice cold beer and plenty of entertainment. A spacious dining area features a Texas flag dance floor and ample table room. The menu includes mouthwatering barbecue dressed in Tin Roof's signature sweet and tangy sauce--sample brisket, ribs, pork loin, sausage or chicken. Other items include sandwiches, homemade country sides, stuffed baked potatoes. Don't forget to check out the horseshoe and washer pits out back.

Best BBQ EVER!!!. OH MY GOSH! The best thing about this place is the sauce! Not to sweet, not to strong, just absolutely perfect! It only gets better when it's heated. You could seriously drink it! All you need is the sauce! And, the chicken melts in your mouth. The stuffed tators are excellent! Onion rings, oh, yes, yummy!!! I would go out of my way to go here, thankfully, it's not out of my way, and it's worth writing home to mom about. Get there as fast as you can!!!

Freakin' Awesome FOOD!!!. Obviously people that are not from Texas shouldn't be writing reviews about Texas BBQ!!! This place has great BBQ and I would know since I have relatives in the BBQ business as well! They just live far from here, so if I have to pick and chose, and when it comes to where to eat BBQ around Humble and Atascosita...there's no competition. I heard that Spring Creek is moving to the area soon...wew, wew...haha...I just moved from Dallas, trust me, you'll be back at Tin Roof! And if you have kids or just really like chicken, Tin Roof has the BEST CHICKEN STRIPS EVER!!! Ok, I guess I'm done. By the way, Ron and Nancy are the salt of the earth...and their restaurant is just another example of great people doing great business. :) They have mine.

BBQ sauce way too runny.... But so is almost every other BBQ place in Texas.. I thought Texans were s'posed to be good at all this stuff? Anyways, it's a decent place, I just wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. Staff was friendly enough. Oh, their fries were not crispy, but hey, maybe people like soggy fries..

Family Gathering. Hello from China, Yes, Chengdu, China, Tin/Roof exceeds my desires in BBQ! Taste... what taste...smell... what smell.... I often tell my wife "if the Tin/Roof could bottle the smell as perfume, I buy her a bottle for Christmas ". When we have family gatherings/School functions ( wife's a teacher) Tin/Roof provides the BBQ. If I'm hungry for a steak, I request the biggest steak, then smile and ask for a sample (you know...meat while I wait on the main meal). They laugh, cut me a piece of meat...free. Yes, My family laughs at me. However, they ENJOY visiting Tin/Roof, my oldest daughter enjoys dancing to the music, visiting with friends&writing on tables.....can't write on tables at MO's..... another thing. The BBQ is cooked daily... not reheated in a microwave.... now I'm hungry for Tin/Roof .... But,I'm in Chengdu,/China. Have you ever tried to find BBQ in China????

Thanks

Bobby Sonnier
