Houston >Maria's All Natural Yogurt
“Quality frozen yogurt - all natural, fresh, good value.”
“Maria's has wonderful frozen yogurt in a variety of flavors.”
“I've been there many times, each time the owner and employees are really nice and welcoming (frankly, it's a primarily hispanic area and i'm asian but i'm not treated any differently).”
“Huge portions and it taste so good.”
this is a great yogurt no doubt but the owner or who ever manages the prices of the yogurt must have a green eyes.
because they charge you way too much for little things, the place is loosing business for pennies. several times my friends and i have been there and they ask for a little bit more granola a tad of honey and they would say, is $1.50 extra. is $1.00 extra really a dollar fifty for a table spoon full of coconut.. But then someone must have gotten smart and said, "mmm,, lets make the containers smaller we can get even more greedy!!!" any way now you go in for a medium yogurt and end up paying around $8 bucks
If you would like an exorcism by the owner then stop by to this place! The whole time I was waiting for my order she went off on every customer about how JESUS is the way! Don't get me wrong. I love Jesus, but this lady was so annoying that when I tried to tell her to shut up and make my order she said "Satan likes to blind and confuse young good looking people like yourself." Her words, not mine! After a dreadful 10 minutes I finally got my yogurt! As I was signing my receipt she gave me the final blow and said "the word of God says he is against Gays & lesbians!" i SMH and walked out. I am not homosexual, but to questioned someone's faith and sexuality is crossing the line and by far worst because it's a business.
I have one advise to the owner--LEAVE THE PREACHING TO THE PREACHERS! LIVE YOUR LIFE AND LEAD BY EXAMPLE! THE CHRISTIAN WAY!
Yogurt awesome-owner, not so much!
Excellent frozen yogurt.
The plain, strawberry, and blueberry frozen yogurt here is excellent. It doesn't taste like soft serve ice cream like some other yogurt places. The fruit is fresh ( they always seem to be cutting fruit in the back) and some is frozen, this really compliments the yogurt. I love that they keep the toppings simple, honey, granola, raisins, dry coconut, pecans, as opposed to having a ton of candy toppings.
They also serve ice cream that they make. I tried the Butter Pecan and the Strawberry flavors which I found to be delicious.
Best in the city of Houston!!!!. Ok so I have tried Pinkberry, Swirl, etc.......... but Marias is by far THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome!! Huge portions and it taste so good. Everyone in my office loves the stuff!!! Brava MARIA
Best frozen yogurt - value, service, product, etc.
Quality frozen yogurt - all natural, fresh, good value. Compared to other frozen yogurt places (like berripop) it's much better value - you can get more fruit (<= 3 ), better fruit (bigger cuts and very fresh), bigger servings, and included toppings - granola, raisins, honey and coconut flakes. I've been there many times, each time the owner and employees are really nice and welcoming (frankly, it's a primarily hispanic area and i'm asian but i'm not treated any differently). I usually get the frozen yogurt but my mom also gets the regular yogurt with the original flavor.
It's in a very unassuming area of town, but check it out, it's quite worth it!
